I. - Movie
"Sshh!"
Lorelei placed a bunch of popcorn into Luthor's mouth to shut him up. The tension was slowly rising inside the cinema, and Luthor tried to ruin it by placing his palm on Lorelei's eyes.
"Behave." Lorelei gave him a stern look to which he responded with several nods. Luthor crossed his arms and pouted as he munched the popcorn in his mouth. All he wanted was his girlfriend's attention yet this movie stole it from him.
'Later... I'll make sure that I'll have all her attention. This stupid movie is boring anyway.', he thought.
It was all about a marksman who fell in love with the Crown Princess of the kingdom. However, the Crown Princess was actually to be wedded with the villain, and the confrontation scene is being played right now. Lorelei's eyebrows knitted as she tried to concentrate on the movie. Luthor, on the other hand, found her cute and decided to take a picture of her discreetly. He then posted it on Instagram with the captions, "My dear girlfriend, can you give me your attention too?"
Proud of himself, Luthor hid his mobile phone and stared at the screen even if he was bored. It was his choice to go and watch this movie with Lorelei anyway. If it makes his girlfriend happy, then he is happy too.
After the movie, Lorelei was crying buckets. The villain turned out to be a good person who only cared for the welfare of the Crown Princess, and he was killed after shielding himself to protect her. Luthor found it ridiculous but realized something through it.
"Dear," Luthor said and wrapped his arms around Lorelei. "you don't need to cry."
Lorelei sniffed as she hugged Luthor back. "B-But it was a beautiful movie... the villain died protecting the girl he loves."
"Then, what am I to you?"
Lorelei removed Luthor's grasp from her and held his cheek. "Luthor, you are my hero."
Luthor held Lorelei's hand. "Yet I'm willing to be the villain if it means loving, protecting, and sacrificing myself for the woman I love. And it is you."
In the middle of the dark cinema, they both shared a passionate moment that only the both of them knew. Do you know too?
