Steve: All hostages are out, no one's injured. What about you, Nat?
Natasha: I found 4 injured currently with the medics. I have to go check another room where there still may be a few hostages left but I need someone to go and check the second floor for any hostages or injured.
Steve: Uh ok Thor you there?
Thor: Yes what do you need?
Steve: Can you send someone to check the 2nd floor?
Thor: Well i'm afraid I have a task on my hands at the moment but I can send Loki he's with me.
Steve: We really don't have anyone else?
Thor: No. But don't worry he won't cause any problems this time I hope.
Steve: Fine. Please hurry.

Loki's POV

I check the whole floor, most of the people dead and one or two injured. I get the injured ones to the medic, no one left only destroyed gadgets, bricks and walls all over the floor. As I'm about leave I hear a slight whimper. I follow the small whimpers as I finally go over and clear up some of the bricks I see a little girl sitting on the floor with blood covering most of her body, you could tell that she's pretty injured.

Loki: Uh guys I need some help here. I found a child.
Thor: A child? Ok wait there I'm sending over help.

I kneel and sit beside her. As I get close to her I see that she gets scared

Loki: hey, it's ok. I'm not going to hurt you, all of this is over. I'm just here to help you.

I pick her up as gently as I could and slowly rock her back and forth as she buries her head on my shoulder and starts crying.

Loki: shh it's going to be ok. I'm going to bring you home.

I keep rocking her back and forth while trying to comfort her as I see both Steve and Thor coming over.

Thor: what's a child doing here?

Steve: well she was probably here with her
parents or someone from her family.
Thor: well we have to contact them.

Steve: I don't think we can find them. She's just a kid it's not like she'll have an Id or anything like that it's going to be pretty hard almost impossible to find out her family.

Thor: well maybe we can have someone take her to a orphanage or-
Loki: No! She'll stay with us.

Thor: Loki, you can't just take a random child.
Loki: Being in the orphanage isn't going to help now. She probably saw her own parents being killed or tortured in front of her what she need right now is comfort and a home not just a place to stay.

Steve: Loki, taking care of a child is much more complicated there's already many responsibilities of being an Avenger-
Loki: I'll handle it. No matter how much more hours I have to work even if I have to work all day long everyday I'll do it. Main point is I'm not giving her up, she's coming with me.

Thor: Fine but if anything happens to her it's your responsibility.
Loki: okay.

At first no one really helped really me take care of Y/n except Thor sometimes. But then after some time slowly everyone started helping mostly Natasha who always helped me take care of Y/n the most out of everyone.

Epilogue: your beginning may have not been the happiest but growing up you couldn't have asked for a better childhood. You grew up with your dad by your side (Loki but you always see him as your real father and prefer to call him your dad) With your dad and all the Avengers by your side you couldn't have asked for a better family. When they just brought you in no one was really that close but slowly after some time they all became very close to you also very protective. You surely didn't grow up like any other child as just when you were little you watched your real parents die and being with the Avengers you also saw lots of battles, etc but you always felt safe with them. All of them especially your dad was always very protective of you but still very loving and caring at the same time. Now that you've sort of come to an age you are a part of the avengers yourself. At first they were very hesitant because they wanted to keep you as safe as possible but Aunt Nat always knew you could fight. But that dosen't mean she wasn't protective she was Very protective of you but she still trained you and when going to big missions everyone is always by your side and she always has your back. At the end surely it would have been nice to lead a normal person's life but if you could change anything about all these your family or your career or just your life in general you wouldn't change a thing. This life was stressful but always worth it in the end. Family isn't defined by blood or only last names. It's about love and the people in your life who wants you in theirs. It's about always having each other's backs and loving each other no matter what. Am I write?
