Backstory: you are an avenger. And as much as you love this job, this family there are always many consequences to it. So many of them already sacrificed their existence to save the world more importantly this family like Pietro, Vision, Gamora, and so many more. One person or well god you couldn't let go of was Loki. He was mire than a lover to you, he was your best friend, your soulmate, your partner in crime, he was your everything and you were his everything. He loved you more than anyone or anything in all the nine realms and you loved him just as much, an amount that would be unexplainable in words therefore you always tried to protect him. You knew he was a god and you were just a mortal he knew how to protect himself and you at the same time but you couldn't risk it not even for a second, you couldn't live without him and you knew it. And everything was going well until just one small destruction ruined it all. Thanos killed Loki, right in front if your eyes, you tried to break free, you screamed your lungs out but it was too late. He loved you too much to see you let go so he gave his life instead. You cried and cried waiting for him to come back again. You went to his grave every single day begging for him to come back, hoping this was just another cruel joke on you but no. Days after days months after months passed but he didn't come back. You crumbled completely, it felt like your world was destroyed. There wasn't any joy left in your life. Home didn't feel like home anymore it felt like a prison, the world felt like a prison. You just wanted to get out of here, see him again, stare into his emerald green eyes, look at his heartwarming smile once again, you just wanted to feel his touch again just one more time but he was gone. Except for missions you completely shut down from the others, Thor sometimes helped cause he knew what it felt like but he eventually also moved after a few months but no matter how hard you tried you just couldn't. But you did agree to not stop until stopping Thanos and stopping everyone's life from being in danger.

Presently: it has been 1-2 year after his death, you still visit his grave, leave a flower there, look at the picture of you both almost every night. For now you and Bruce travel a few years ahead in the future to collect the soul stone and save everyone who's lives has been lost. You weren't grieving this time, this time you were fuelled with anger and hungry for revenge. But you knew the only way to get revenge on Thanos couldn't be all by yourself that wouldn't even be considered brave just stupid. You needed all the or at least most of the avengers back as so you and Bruce were now headed to the Vormir.

You both walk your way to the top of the Vormir.

Y/n: hm I probably would've wished for a better death if I knew I had to die while jumping off of a cliff.
Bruce: what? No, there's no way I'm letting you die here.
Y/n: Bruce you already know one of us have to- wait can't you just bring out hulk so if you jump you won't die.
Bruce: Y/n, dear that's not how it works. One of us have to give away our souls but hulk can't really die so I guess this is the end-
*he says as he tries to run forward but immediately stop him*
Y/n: no way, no.
Y/n: Bruce, you know you have to live, you know the avengers can't do this without you.
Bruce: darling, they need you too.
Y/n: no, they don't. I'm just a mortal I can take down a bunch of agents but let's be clear here I can't take down Thanos but you can. And you need to.
*Bruce comes closer to you as takes your hand in his, as he moves his face closer to yours, bringing his lips closer to yours*
Bruce: l-Y/n. Y/n, you need to listen to me. We can't lose you. You are important, really important to m-us. To us. And-
*he continues his lecture as you move your hands from his shoulders to his hips as you slowly move one of your hand away from his hips to yours as you slowly take out the dagger strapped around your thigh and quickly stab him in shin.
He winces for a second as Bruce's illusion slowly disappears and Loki's true form starts to appear in front of you. Your eyes starts filling up with tears as you felt rage boiling through your vains*
Loki: I-well that has never happened before I can assure you that-
*you kick him in the stomach making him fall backwards as he falls on the ground you get on top of him as you punch him in the face several times while tears flows out of your eyes and you keep on going until he starts bleeding as you finally stop*
Loki: ok I'm not gonna lie, I deserved that.
*you bring the same dagger to his throat again*
Y/n: why? Why did you this? Why did you disappear? Why?
