​​​​Universe: The FaCA Universe (name is subject to change eventually). This universe is centered around the existence of living puppets alongside humans, spirits, and anthropomorphic animals alike, reincarnation, and even includes alternate history. Spirits [souls that refuse to live another life and thus live on Earth among the living, sometimes in their own "ghost towns," such as New Dessle, England] are the oldest of the group of species by far, and puppets being the youngest by a long shot, only coming into existence around the mid 11th Century. All of these species regularly interact with each other, and have regularly interacted with each other for centuries, as of mid 2023 [the present]. There is also an infinitely large afterlife that can only be described as "low-key sentient," named Nowhere And Also Everywhere, which resembles Earth and all its locations (as well as any alternate universes/realities) -- except with a very dreamlike feel. This is the location where new souls are created. With this afterlife, small "powers" such as teleportation to specific locations and changing forms/appearances in an instant are possible, and commonly used. In this universe, almost everything has a soul -- from trivial things like a plant, star, or bacteria to "larger" things such as human beings and the rest of the world's animals. Technology is slightly more advanced here, by about 50 years, compared to our own world. Townlocationplace/TLP, later renamed Citytownlocationplace/CTLP in the early 1900s, is the focal point of this universe in terms of location; this town/city, one of many towns of its kind, was founded by butterfly puppets Rainn Fort and Matthew Milkweed in 1839, and lies on the English coast, specifically on the border between the counties of Kent and East Sussex (although the town itself is more commonly considered to be part of Kent). (C)TLP started out as a "puppet" town, and was founded so puppets, recently freed in 1837, could have a settlement instead of travelling between developing towns. FaCA universe my beloved

Name: Mary Jane Rose Elizabeth Higgsby (née Withercreek); both Mary and Jane (a combination, in this case) were standard Christian given names for women, while her two middle names were given with the intent to reference her aunts Rose Withercreek and Elizabeth Withercreek. She was usually referred to by either Mary, Mary Jane, or, more formally, Mrs Higgsby. Besides any formal documents, her two middle names weren't brought up often. In her teen years both Mary and Mary Jane were in use, but it was also common for peers to refer to her as a/the Devil's Child just before to her "purification." Oh! The word "purification" here is. Intimidating, to say the least

Gender: Female.

Sexuality: Going against all popular belief, Mary was actually homosexual; this was never truly realized by herself, she didn't feel the need to question it as it wasn't on her mind often at all, even before her "purification" in her mid teen years. After this she very rarely was on good terms with other women -- she was always so catty and passive aggressive, or, even worse, jealous or envious of them. Mary became a lot more willing to accept men, but was never heterosexual. Even then, she considered herself to be heterosexual only. Oh, I think the detail of her never getting close enough to other women to crush on them/fall in love is really interesting! How would she rationalize not feeling attracted to men, though? Would she assume that everyone feels like she does, or would she try and convince herself that she likes men? Is it a thing where she feels like she's too pure and godly to feel desire?

Status: She has been dead since the 2nd of December, 1936 due to illness and feeling much, much weaker overall. It's unknown if she's either in Nowhere And Also Everywhere as of 2023, but she wasn't allowed in the afterlife after she had passed. The afterlife refused, forcing her soul to live another life on Earth in order to "make up" for all the terrible acts she had done throughout life and to prove that she truly had changed and could be forgiven. In the more "physical" world, Mary Jane has been buried in TLP's local cemetery, specifically in the area members of the church lie. Oh I love the irony of a very devout person not getting into the afterlife
