The drive to the Dark Mountain territory, was over five hours long. Xavier and I were going strong for awhile, just listening to music and talking, but by the third hours things got boring. We tried we really really tried to savor are good times, but theres only so much you can do in a car.

So currently Im sitting in the car playing flappy birds on Xaviers phone, quite shittly may I add.

"Im done, I'm so done, like I'm done with everything!" I shout in a valley girl voice.

I was tempted to throw his phone, but I really don't want him yelling at yme for the remaining hour and a half. So I settle with just setting his phone roughly in the cup holder.

"Watch my baby." He cries, rubbing the spot where I gently laid his phone. "I'll never let her hurt you again." He adds, whispering as though he's talking to a damn child.

I narrow my eyes, reaching over and slapping the consel as hard as possible. "Leather interior, Rose, leather!" He growls.

"Dont tempt me, I will ruin this car." I threaten.

"Don't do anything rash."

"Do you not know me, my middle name is rash." I screech.

He sighs leaning his head back on the seat, signaling he was done with our conversation. I turn up the music on the radio, leaning back into the nice seat, before drifing off to sleep.

With a groan, I flutter my tired eyes open, it was getting close to dinner and I was starved, and uncomfortable. The seat may have looked and pretended to be comfortable, but don't be fooled, it's not.

"Wakey, wakey sleepy head, we have a meeting." Xavier cooes.

I groan again slamming my head against the seat and unbuckling. The pack house, or main house was differnet from both Mattews and Xaviers, which were homey but elegant. This pack house didn't have the same homey feel, no it felt cold and detached.

I shudder, pulling my body up from it's seat and exiting the car. I had the sudden urge to bury myself in Xaviers arms and never come out. That wasn't an option, though, seeing as here we came here for help, and we'd get it.

Me and Xavier and like cold air and hot air, when against each other can destroy one another. But together can create a tornato and destroy anyone or anything it wanted. We're a total power couple.

As we walk up to the mysterious house I can't help but reach out grab Xaviers hand. Just a few weeks ago I would've walked in there with my chin raised and an arrogant smirk. Now look at me, going soft, I feel like a normal girl.

He entwines are fingers together so tight I can feel every line and crease in his hand. In his other hand he holds both of our duffel bags.

I was tempted to reach up and pinch his cheek, praising him for being such a big helper, but don't. As much as I love to tease and embarass him, I don't want others bothering him. Thats my job, nobody elses.

"Why do I even have to come to this stupid meeting?" I whine.

He just grins, shaking his head at my childish behavior. I wanted to slap that smug grin of his face, actually I'd probably find a more creative way.

When we finally reach the main area, we are bombarded with questions.

Xavier growls, forcing them all away from us. Even in a room full of powerful alpha's, Xavier is still the most powerful. I couldn't help the pride that swelled in my chest.

He pushes through the crowd, asking one of the pack boys where his alpha was. The kid squeaks out a response, telling us down the hall to the right. Boys are so dumb, all he had to do was tell us the room number.
