Chaos.
The next morning was pure chaos. I could hear shouting and yelling, followed by gunfire. I was trying hard to break the, but it was so hard, I wasn't angry like yesterday.
I could hear footsteps quickly approaching, to fast. I quickly yanked my wrist, thankful that the chains broke. I grab one of the knives on the table beside me, before ducking out the door, which wasn't locked.
I didn't know what was happening, or who was attacking. But I did know, that with all the commotion, I could find Prakee and kill him.
But first I had to do something.
I run down to the prisons, killing the guards, quickly and easily, before entering the prison. Some of the prisoners were scared, fearing whoever was shooting. Swiftly, without hestitation, I grab the keys from the dead guard and start opening door.
Even out of the cage, the prisoners stay frozen. I would be suprised too, some were vampires and it wasn't hard to guess that I didn't like them. However, I wasn't going to let them be tortured by this tyrant.
"Go!" I bark. "Go now, while they're distrated."
My last cell is Parker's brother. He was shaking in fear, crouched in the corner, whimpering slightly.
"Go." I command gently.
"What about you?" He ask looking up at me with wide eyes.
"I'm going to kill Parker." I whisper hesitantly.
"Let me help." He says hopefully.
"No, it's to dangerous, just get out of here." I snap.
"Rose, I can help you, I know him better than anyone. I'll distract him and you can go in and kill him. I'm not taking no for an answer."
I ponder over his idea, I was against it morally, but strategically speaking it was a good idea. Parker would defiantley be frazzled, and it would give me an advantage.
"Okay."
I pull him off the ground, making a run for the action, I was dirty and bloody like many of the others, so I didn't stick out.
I knew where Parker would be, and it wasn't out here with his men. "Where's his office?" I ask.
"Follow me." He shouts over the commotion.
He leads me down a series of hallways, before entering what looks like a main lobby of sorts. There was a secretary next to a desk, holding a gun to us. I toss the kid to the side, charging at the lady, then sliding into her legs. She falls to the ground, gun clattering with her in the process.
I grab my knife from my pocket, slitting her throat. She gasp a few times before falling into oblivion. I put the knife in my pocket, securing it before truning towards the gun.
I grab the gun, walking around to grab Parkers brother, but he wasn't there. I hear a gun's boom, it was the kid, he got shot, I could feel it. I hold my hands up in surrender, turning around to see him laying in a pool of blood beside Parker.
Parker slowly claps his hands, "What a show!"
Parker is pointing the gun at me, I couldn't kill a kid, I knew I couldn't, but he could, he did.
"You're sick!" I spit. "You killed your own brother. ."
Within a second Parker has my face in his hand, pushing me against the wall. "I would hardly call me the sick one, you've killed four of my men today without hesitation. I think it says a little more about you than me. Not to mention the fact, that you wouldn't understand what it's like to have family."
