I can hear whispers all around us, whispering about me, about the lady I'm following. The people, they weren't witches, or werewolves, or vampires, they were something different, something dangerous.
"Pay no mind to them, they wouldn't hurt you, even if they could." Her statement doesn't reassure me, infact it makes me more nervous.
None of Xavier pack had been allowed near this area, no pack or clan had ever tried to enter, I was a first.
We finally come upon an old cabin, it was small, all of the cabins we'd passed had been small. The inside was crammed and simple, nothing was for decoration or not needed.
"Sit." She points to a small table in the back of the cabin. It was dimly lite by candles, but nothing more.
I reluctantly take a seat in a creaky chair, but stay on the edge of the chair.
"I suppose you'd like to know who I am?" She inquires.
I nod my head, not relaxing as I take in the almost farmiliar interior.
"I am an orignal hybrid. Sister of Selene, or as you know her, the moon goddess. Nobody ever thinks she had a family, but she did, there were three of us. My name is Lillian, I'm part witch and part wolf. Selene, however was part wolf and part angel. And lastly, our sister Riley was part vampire and part wolf.
"Selene was the most powerful of us, being given the most powerful gift, but she wasn't the smartest. No, she was naive and at some times, very dumb. Nonetheless she is considered the moon goddess because she was powerful and gave many gifts to the wolves. Such as mates, she was always so hung up on the idea of true love." Her eyes glass over, thinking about her family.
"While she was off playing matchmaker, I was protecting her, mostly from our other sister, but also from others. And one day, when she was attacked, I saved her, dying in the process, but she wouldn't let that happen, no she healed me somehow, bringing me back. Something in my blood changed that day, my blood changed, it developed the ability to heal."
I cut off her story. "And how does this have to do with me, I wanted answers about that memory, not your life story." I snap.
"Child hush down, I'm getting there. Your real parents aren't James and Serena, your real mother is a direct descendant of my bloodline, making you very special." She explains.
"How is that possible, I've seen pictures of my mother pregnant?"
"It was a chance meeting, me and your real mother, Olivia, had met Serena and James while in Ohio. Olivia and Serena were both about nine months pregnant, and little did Serena know, her baby would be stillborn. When their baby dies, they left their pack for awhile, never giving a explanation, just a date to expect them back.
"Two months had passed before Olivia realised that you wouldn't live if you didn't hide. And coincidentally, you happened to look just like Serena and James. But just leaving wasn't going to stop anything. So she made a deal with me, I would supress your abilities, in return for hers. We didn't fully take them away, because you were so powerful, we couldn't just waste that power. You weren't born beta, but you were just as powerful, so no one would question it. And just like I'd planned your parents gladly took you, they raised you on there own.
"Selene knew how powerful you were, none of my previous descendants had gotten healing blood, but you did. She paired you with the most powerful person that was a match, which happened to be another one of our offsprings."
"Why did you let all of these bad things happen then, you have so much power, and you just sit on a throne?!" I shout in anger. My blood was boiling, all the bad, terrible things that could have been prevented, weren't. The three main supernatural groups were created by sisters, and they couldn't keep peace.
