Watch Me

Chapter 12

Zoe's alarm went off at 9am. She turned it off and felt Colton's hand across her body. She smiled as she snuck out of bed. She grabbed a pair of white panties and a matching bralette from her dresser and headed for the bathroom. She brushed her teeth and showered quickly. Leaving her hair slightly damp, she made her way to the kitchen and started to make coffee. As she was rummaging through her refrigerator, she felt a pair of hands on her waist. She smiled and stood up, closing the door.

"Good morning beautiful," Colton said as he wrapped his arms tighter around her as she stood up.

"Hey sexy," she said as she turned around in his arms. "Hungry?"

"Starving," he said. "Let me go grab a shower and I'll take you out for breakfast."

"I have a better idea. You go grab a shower and I'll make us something," she said as she wrapped her arms around his waist.

He smiled. "Cookies in bed and now you're going to make me breakfast? Best sleepover ever." He gave her a quick kiss. "What are you going to make us?"

"How about ham and cheese omelets?"

His eyes widened. "Really?"

Zoe laughed. "I can cook, you know." She stepped back. "Go take your shower. The clean towels are in the cabinet when you first walk in. Davis has some stuff in the shower to, so feel free to use it."

He gave her another quick kiss and turned to grab his backpack off the floor. He watched as she started pulling things out of the fridge. He watched her turn and grab a cutting board and knife. She looked up and gave him a wink. He smiled and headed for the bathroom.

"That may have been the best omelet I have ever had," Colton said as he put his fork on the plate in front of him. He grabbed his coffee and finished it as Zoe jumped off the stool she was sitting on and grabbed their plates. She took them into the kitchen and rinsed them off.

"Glad you liked it," she said as she grabbed her coffee. "Maybe if you're lucky one of these days I'll cook dinner for you."

He smiled as he got off his stool and walked over to her. He wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her. She wrapped her arms around his neck and deepened the kiss, moaning into his mouth as the front door opened.

"What is it with you two and the kitchen?!" Sarah said as she walked in, laughing as she sat at the counter. They broke apart and faced her, Colton keeping an arm around Zoe's waist as they leaned on the counter. She looked at the two of them. "And why is it you two never have pants on either?"

Colton laughed as he looked down at himself and Zoe. He stood there in his boxers while she was in her underwear. He looked at Sarah. "She hid my pants?"

Zoe laughed as she looked at Sarah. "Oh please. Don't make me remind you of you and Davis' naked cooking lesson."

Colton burst out laughing. "Naked cooking lesson?!"

Sarah smiled at him. "Yeah, that was fun. It was also the last time Zee allowed us in the kitchen. So, what did she make you?"

"Ham and cheese omelet," he said.

Sarah groaned. "Damn it, I missed her omelets."

Zoe laughed. "Sorry, babe. Maybe next week. Still have some coffee though, want some?"

"Sure," she said. Zoe poured her a cup and put it on the counter. "So, I take you two had a good night?"

"Best sleepover ever!!" Colton said as he kissed Zoe's cheek while she laughed. "I'm going to get dressed." He gave her hip a little squeezed before he headed for Zoe's bedroom. He took his jeans and shirt out of his bag and put in his sleep clothes from the night before from the floor. As he was putting his shirt on, he noticed the cookies on her nightstand. He smiled as he remembered the night before. The cookies, the argument about the reality of superhero movies, laughing as they cracked jokes during the movie, the warmth of her body as he held her while they slept. His stomach fluttered with each memory. I'm in trouble, he thought to himself. It's been a very long time since I've felt this way about someone, if I ever really have. It seems like it's happening so quickly too. He finished getting dressed, threw his backpack over his arm and grabbed the two empty bottles of water and left-over cookies and made his way back out to the kitchen. Zoe and Sarah were giggling about something and stopped she they heard his footsteps. He smiled as he put the cookies on the counter with the water bottles.
