"I could have just driven to the front, so you don't have to walk," Colton said as they crossed the street to the parking garage where he parked his car.

Zoe rolled her eyes. "Colt, I'm fine. I barely have a headache. Besides," she said as the got onto the elevator. "I need to walk off some of my anger."

He looked at her. "Anger?"

"Yeah. I know better than to just walk into a room without being aware of my surroundings. It's like one of the first things they teach you in a self-defense class." She leaned on the wall as the doors closed. "I feel dumb."

He looked at her. "Baby, there's no way you could have seen that coming."

She sighed as they reached their floor. "No, but I could have been more prepared for it. Instead, I get a bump on the head and a day off. Just really not what I need, you know."

He nodded in agreement. "I get it, but on the plus side," he said as he held her hand while they got off the elevator. "At least we have the day off together." He smiled at her as he kissed her hand. She smiled back at him before turning the corner and stopping dead in her tracks. He looked up at his car and started to laugh. He gave her hand a small tug as they walked to his car now surrounded by their friends.

Kristen walked over to them with a concerned look on her face. "What happened now?" she asked, her eyes going wide at the bandage on Zoe's head.

"How did you know something was wrong?" Colton asked.

"Easy. Robert told us you guys finished early, so he said we could all leave early too. As we came up here, we noticed your car was still here," Kristen said as they made it to the car. "That plus the flooded locker room story, something didn't add up."

Mack smiled. "The rest of us just followed Kristen's instincts." Adam, Davis and Natalie nodded in agreement.

Zoe smiled at her. "Seriously, you should do some private investigation work."

"Ok, what happened Zee?" Sarah said as she hugged her. Zoe told them what happened as Colton stood next to her, his arm draped on her shoulder letting her lean on him. They all stood speechless as she talked. Sarah hugged her again when she finished. "I can't believe this is happening to you. We'll stay at our place tonight to keep an eye on you." Davis nodded as he walked over and hugged her as well.

Zoe smiled as she hugged her friends. "I appreciate it guys, really, but I'm going to hang at Colt's tonight and tomorrow. The paramedics said no work tomorrow as a precaution, so Anna gave Colt and I the day off." She stepped out of the hug. "In fact, I don't think you two should stay at our place tonight either."

Sarah's eyes widened. "Why? Do you think it's not safe there?"

Zoe smiled. "Yes, but not from my sisters." Sarah laughed. "If they can't find you, they can't find me."

Sarah smiled. "Fair enough." She looked at Colton. "You'd better take care of her."

Colton smiled at Sarah. "Of course, I will. I can't cook though." Zoe bumped his hip as they all laughed.

"Real talk," Mack said as he walked over to them both. "If you guys need anything, I'm a phone call away." He hugged Zoe.

"That goes for all of us," Adam said he shook Colton's hand. "We've got you guys."

Zoe felt her eyes water. "Thanks guys. We appreciate it."

"Ok," Natalie said hugged Colton. "Get her back to your place and make her rest." She pulled away and hugged Zoe. "You take it easy and don't be a hero. Let him take care of you."
