"Tommy! Can you please just tell me where we're going?" I giggled as I stepped out of the door and onto the porch.

He slammed the door shut and draped his arm over my shoulder. "Baby, I've told you like a billion times! It's a surprise" he said, pulling me into him and placing a kiss on my cheek.

I rolled my eyes and walked towards the car. I looked up, waiting for Tommy to unlock it, but he started heading towards the garage. He lifted up the door and walked inside.

I frowned as I watched him, thinking maybe he wanted to double check the doors or something, but he started taking forever. "C'mon Tommy! What the hell are you doing in there!?" I yelled.

"Hang on!" He giggled.

I heard the sound of a motorcycle fire up. Tommy reversed out with a smile the size of Texas across his face and his sunglasses on.

"So, what do you think, huh?" He hollered.

I smiled and nodded my head. "She's a beauty, but stop fooling around! Let's just get in the car and go" I said, dropping my hip.

"We're not going in the car"

"What do you mean we're not going in the car!?"

His smile turned mischievous.

"Nu-uh Tommy Lee! I'm not getting my ass on that death trap!"

"What's wrong? You scared?" He smirked, squinting his eyes as he tried to goad me.

"No! I'm just a responsible parent! I mean... W-What happens if we crash into a semi or something!?"

"We're not going to crash!" He said, rolling his eyes.

I folded my arms and cocked my eyebrow. "And I thought the same thing back in Greece"

He sighed, shook his head and turned off the bike. He slammed the garage door shut as he walked over to me and sat on the hood of the car, resting his hands on my hips. "Look, I know it's still raw but we can't keep living our lives being extra cautious, baby. Where's my Nessie gone, huh? The one that always wanted to live her life on the edge and do crazy, spontaneous shit?"

I looked down at the ground, let out a deep sigh and looked back up at him. When I first met Tommy, my confidence started to grow tremendously and I wanted to live my life to the fullest, even if it was risky, but now I was a mom and I felt like I couldn't be selfish like that anymore. I had a little girl to think about before I thought about myself. "Come on, it'll be fun. I promise I'll drive slow" he said, giving me his puppy dog eyes.

I knew he was lying. His cheek bones were always super prominent when he did, but it was our anniversary and he had a whole day planned. He was so excited, he was like a kid on Christmas morning, I didn't want to ruin it for him because of my own irrational anxieties, plus it was super hard saying no to him when he looked at me like that.

"Alright, you've convinced me"

"Yes!" He muttered to himself. He cupped my face with his hands and pressed his lips against mine. "You're gonna love it!" He said as he started racing towards the bike. I smirked, rolled my eyes and slowly walked behind him.

We rode out to Malibu. I could smell the warmth of the sun on the roads. My hair was being blown around from the wind we were creating and I could hear the laughter of families having fun on the beach. I had my arms around Tommy's waist and rested my chin on his shoulder the entire time.

We pulled up outside of a tattoo parlour and I was a little confused. Tommy had been coming home with tattoos constantly lately. It was like his newest obsession. "Are you kidding me, Tommy!? If you think I'm spending the whole day in this freakin' place while you finish your leopard tattoo, you have another thing comi-"
