Lost(Ch-18)

Previously:
A: Adi I... I actually... I love Sid!
Sid's Eyes got widened.
He was shocked as well as happy and wasn't able to digest what just happened.
S: Wh... What?
A: Yes Sid I luv. I wanted to confess u but I was too shy do it!
S: I-I luv u too Avneet!
Sid hugged her and she hugged him back.
Adi was jealous and went from their in anger.

Now:
Avu broke the hug.
A: Thanks Sid.... For playing along with me.
Sid and Tanu got shocked.
T: Playing?
A: Yeah! I didn't want to him to give any chance wance. U know na he is total flirt and Chipku!
T: Means u lied?
A: No!
T: So... U love Sid bhai?
A: Yes... As a friend I mean best friend.
Sid felt disappointed. For a while he thought that Avu really love him.
They starting having their lunch again.
Soon, they were ready to leave again.
All of them settled in bus.
This time Aditya was sitting in the bus quietly.

It was around 7:30pm and the bus was going through a jungle.
Avu was sleeping on Sid's shoulder and Sid was admiring her.
Suddenly the bus stopped with a jerk.
Avu woke up.
A: Did we reach?
S: No... I think there's some problem.
Farhina(to the driver): What happened?
Driver: I think there's a problem in the bus! Let me check! Can all the students get out?
Farhina: Ok.
Everyone got out of the bus.
Sidneet, Tanu and Ashi were standing together.
The road was a little higher than the jungle.
A: Let's have a selfie!
She took out her phone for selfie but it fell in the jungle.
A: Oh no! My phone! I am coming in a minute guyz!
S: But it's not safe!
A' Arre don't worry zyaada door nahi gaya hoga! I'll come back in a minute!

She left
S: I am going with her.
Tunashi: We will also come.
S: No u stay here and if Avneet comes then call me.
T: Ok.
He also left.
Sid was searching for her everywhere but she was nowhere.
S: Where is Avneet?
Avneet!!!! Avneet!!!! Can u here me!!!!????? Avneet!!!!!
I think she must have gone deeper in the jungle.
He also went more inside the jungle.
Suddenly he stepped on smthing.
S: OMG! It's Avneet's phone! But where is she? Avneettttt!!!!!
He went more deeper in the jungle shouting Avneet's name at top of his lungs.
S: Avneeeeeeetttttt!!!!!
Sm1: Siddharth!! I am here!!!
S: It's Avneet's voice! Avneettttt!!! Where are u???
Somehow he navigated her voice and met her.
He saw she sitting on the ground, holding her ankle.
S(worried): What happened?
A: My ankle!
He saw her ankle was bleeding.
S: I can here some water's sound. Let's go their and wash it!
A:hmm
Avu tried to stand up but failed.
A: Ouchh!!
Sid picked her up in bridal style, sending sparks in her spine.
She encircled her arms around Sid's neck.
Soon, they reached near a flowing river.
Sid took some water from it and washed Avu's foot and tied it with his hanky.
S: Are u fine now?
A(smiling): Hmm
S: Let's go!
A(still smiling): Hmm
S: wait! But in which direction do we have to go??
A(Still smiling): Hmm
Sid snapped his fingers in front of her.
S: Are u even listening to me?
A: Hmm?? Ye.. Yes! yes!
S: What did I say?
A: U said 'Are u evening listening to me? '
S: Before that?
A: Umm.... Umm... I don't know!
S: Where were you lost?
A: In u!
S: What?
A: Hmm... No No nothing. Accha tell me what were u saying?
S: I Said WE ARE LOST!!!
A: What??? We are lost?
S: Yeah!
A: Shit!

A: See there's a hut over there! Maybe we can spend a night there?
S: Let's see. Cmon.
Again Avu could not stand up So Sid picked her up.
Avu didn't know why but she was feeling really different from his touch.
A(in mind): Why I am feeling butterflies from his touch??
Does that mean I have feelings for him. Umm.... No I don't think so. He's my friend that's it! I should stay limited to friendship only! But he is so cute and caring!
They reached at the hut and knocked.
An old lady came out.
Lady: Yes?
S: Actually we are lost here and even my friend is injured so.... Can we plz get shelter here just for a night?
Lady: Ok... Come inside.
They came inside.
The hut was not at all spacious.
It just had a single bed, a table and rocking chair in front of fire place and a very small kitchen. The only light that the hut was having was the light coming out of fire.
Sid made Avu sit on the bed and sat beside her.
Lady went in the kitchen.
S: I wonder how she stays here!
A: Yeah!
Lady came after a few mins with two bowls in her hand.
Lady: U both must be hungry. Take this.
She handed them the bowl.
The bowl was having some soup. It wasn't fully filled.
Sidneet had the soup.
Lady took a ball of wool and started knitting.
Lady: Where are u ppl from
A: Delhi
Lady: Hmm... Are u guyz full? Or shall I bring some more soup?
Sidneet: No we are fine.
Lady: Ok let's sleep then. U both can sleep on bed. I will adjust on this chair.
A: No no u sleep on the bed we will adjust smwhere.
S: Yeah!
Lady: Don't worry, I usually fall sleep on this chair only!
S: Umm ohk.

It was 9:30 and Sidneet were not able to sleep bcz they had a habit of sleeping late.
The lady was already asleep.
Whisper talk:
A: Are u asleep?
S: Not at all
A: Even I am not feel sleepy!
S: But we can't do anything! I think that Lady is early sleeper.
A:hmm... I think we should not talk much... She might get disturbed.
S: Hmm.
The wind was blowing fast due to which the window of the hut opened.
Cold breeze was coming inside and Sidneet were feeling cold as the blanket given to them was not enough to stop the cold from reaching them.
A: I'll close the window.
S: Wait! Ur foot is injured. I'll do it.
Avu smiled.
Sid got up and silently closed the window.
But still it was cold inside.
Avu shifted a little bit towards Sid.
A: Sid
S: Hmm
A: We are friends na!
S: Ya! Of course!
A: Sooo.... Umm... Can.. Can we cuddle?
S: Are u feeling cold?
A: Hmm...
Sid wrapped his arms around Avu.
She was again feeling butterflies in her stomach.
A(in mind):O god! What's happening to me?? Why do I feel like this whenever he touches me? And.. And I feel so comfortable and safe around him!
She ignored her feelings for now and drifted off to sleep.
