The slammer wasn't all bad.

I was able to watch the other boys walking around doing their jobs.

I had some alone time which was... Bad.

No one had come to see me. I half expected newt would or Alby at least to tell me how bad I had been but no.

Not one single person came to visit me.

After a few hours someone did come. Alby

And as I had guessed, he did start by telling me off.

"The fist thing I told you jess was that there were only two rules.never harm another glader and never go into the maze."

The angerd look never left his face. "You can stay in here while we figure out what we're going to do with you."

Alby walked off leaving me alone once again.

I moved to the corner of the slammer and found a long piece of straw to play with.

I was tying it and untying it around my fingers.

I had seen newt walk past many times, but not once did he acknowledge me.

I stayed in the slammer all afternoon and for the whole night with no food or water.

Torture.

In the early hours of the day, chuck walked over with a small amount of food and a filled glass of water.

"Thanks chuck" I gave him a thankful smile to go with my words.

Minho (with his angry face) and ben returned to the slammer.

"Alby is holding a council meeting.we need to take you there. Gally gally is also going, you will be on the other side if the room though" ben said.

Minho began unlocking the door.

They pulled me out and began to walk me over to the homestead.

I say 'walk' but I really mean dragged.

All of the gladers were sitting towards the back, the keepers standing along the front and Alby in the middle.

There were two chairs, gally in the left one and I sat in the right one.

Alby started off by welcoming everyone "we all know what the concequences of breaking the rules are."

Pretty much everyone looked at me with his next words"Jess harmed another glader and the concequences would normally be 2 weeks in the slammer. However gally now claims she is a murderer and the note she recieved from WICKED suggested it was her fault. Murder would lead to a banishing."

Were they really going to banish me?

Minho stepped foward. "She did break the rules but what happend with Adam happend before Jess was even in the maze. Surely she can't be blamed for it?"

"I saw her!" Gally growled and he rose up from his chair and slammed his fist down."it was you Jessica it was all you!"

I looked at the floor, I couldn't look him in the eye. I kind of felt sorry for gally. He'd had a rough time. Lost his best friend, no one listening to him, I would feel even worse for him but seeing as he's gally, I think not.

"Newt what do you say?" Newt hadn't even looked me in the eye until now.

Something was wrong.

He turned so his whole body was facing me.
It felt horrible, like he was trying to kill me with his eyes.

Where had my boyfriend gone. My one and only.

"Newt?" Alby said again.

Newts face turned to anger.

His words killed me. So evil I was certain they didn't come from his mouth.

"I say we banish her"
