Chapter 5

READY FOR ANOTHER CHAPTER?
I FEEL LIKE NO ONE IS APPRECIATING MY WORK :(
Frypans cooking tasted surprisingly good seeing as what newt had told me.
"Don't eat the eggs or he'll tell you the story about what happened last month" newt warned.
But being me I couldn't help it. The eggs looked so tasty. Especially the poached ones, the almost perfect sphere.

Newt and I both grabbed a plate and went to sit down along with some other gladers.

"So you like the eggs huh?" Frypan asked. He was wearing a big apron that was covered in food stains.
"yeah they are pretty good" I said trying to be polite.
"...actually she DOSENT want her eggs anymore" newt cut in before frypan could reply.
"And that's why she's eating them!?!" Frypan said pretending to glare at newt.
I asked frypan about the egg situation last month and he told me the story.
"The box came up and there was a new greenie and a chicken but no fresh suplys" he starts.
"I was the greenie" a younger tubby boy with curly hair says excitedly. "I'm chuck by the way" I smiled over to him and frypan continued.
"So with only a chicken for the whole month and the little suplys from last time, we had to live off eggs. Everyone loved it at first but the. There was a horrible diarrhea bug and everyone was ill" frypan began to laugh.
""What's so funny?" I asked.
"It was all so funny and Minho had it really bad and he really needed to go but the loos were all being used at that time, so ta know what he did?" Frypan took in a large breath. "He pooped in chucks bed."
The guy sitting across from me, I guess was Minho as he came up with the excuse " it was dark you shuck face" and his face turns purple with shame.
Gradually I began to know most of the surrounding gladers names.
Chuck was really friendly and only 12/ so he thought.
Minho was keeper of the runners and he was soooo good looking.
"Hey Minho, I'm in love with your hair" I said probably sounding like the strangest person ever.
"Haha no don't be fooled. He lives on hairgel And milk" another guy said. His name was winston and he too was a keeper but of the slicers.
I turned on my confused face. "I get the hair gel but why milk?" I asked facing Minho.
"Strong and healthy bones."Minho replied and started fakely flexing his huge muscles.
"That's not the actual reason though" zart said also another keep.inhi has this strange thought that in his previous life he used to live on a farm." Everyone in our circle began to laugh.
Backing himself up, Minho said "the cows just make me feel at home" eyebrows gave him a pat on the back and whispers something to newt.
Newt Didn't show much of An expression as to what eyebrows had said, but he replied with a simple nod. The boys continued making cow noises untill Minho gave up on trying to be angry so he just joined in.

Newt and eyebrows said they needed to talk with me after breakfast.
Eyebrows said something about a dead head?

No clue

Newt and I were walking towards the west side forest and I walked into a tree.

I hit my head really hard and ended up on the ground. I put my hand up to my head And it came down covered in blood.

"You alright there" eyebrows called from a distance.
"Newt bent down and was dabbing my head with his shirt.
"You should really wach where your going greenie" newt said caring about me.
"...jess" I mumbled

Newt gave me a puzzled look.

"My name. I render my name, it's jess" I exclaimed excitedly.

"Hey gally, give me a hand here. We'll take JESS over to Clint and Jeff." Newt said
So that was eyebrows name. Kinda suited him.
Gally...gally...gally...

Snap out of it.

I suddenly realized I had been speaking out load repeating gallys name over and over.

"You Must have hit your head really hard Jess" newt said still dabbing at my head gently.

"Let's go" gally said as he and newt both lifted me up and walked me back towards the centre of the glade.

"They're going to love to see me back there" I said sarcastically.

Jeff greeted me with a smile and Clint just silently laughed to himself.
"You missed us that much, you had to slice your head open? You know you could have just knocked on the door if you wanted to talk" Clint said still laughing only now it was aloud.
