Chapter Eight:

"How am I supposed to know what that means?" Jill asked. She had a slight understanding of what was happening, but the campers or ... anyone... would never know that. The best option seemed to just act oblivious for now, or..forever?

"Jillison, Jill, and Madi-" Arabella got cut off mid-sentence by Jenny who tried to stop the awkwardness of it all. Jill had never been more grateful to have Jenny in the bunk.

"Wait I'm confused" Jenny said. Oh great, even Jenny was just confused. Jill had a feeling that nobody was going to let her stay in denial.

"It's a ship name," Emma said.

OH great, even Emma was aware. Jill's chances of having everyone forget about it were getting slimmer and slimmer by the second.

Madison had always been a theatre kid, and therefore knew she was going to have to give a good show. Madison paused for a second, considering her options. After about 4 seconds, she strolled calmly diagonally across the room, heading straight for Jill's bed. Maybe not STRAIGHT to Jill's bed, she definitely flounced her shoulders as she walked, taking time to slow it down. Emma would've recognized this technique from a fanfic she'd read just a month or two ago.

Madison rested her arms on the wooden board of the bunk bed, her face much closer than either Justin or Cory would've liked (cOvId) before leaning her turning her head to the side, deepening her voice to whisper something into Jill's ear.

"Don't worry, I'm just giving the audience what they want." she whispered, pausing yet again, before pulling back and resting her head back on the wooden board, protecting Jill from rolling off in her sleep.

All of the campers giggled and went wide-eyed as the counselors held deep eye contact with each other. Madison nodded and looked at Emma who understood the assignment. Emma climbed out of her bed and turned the lights off, Jill's eyes got wide as she was hit with a pang of confusion, what had Madison planned??

The room was filled with very lewd noises as Madison let out gasps and made kiss-y noises with her mouth. Jill nodded as she began to understand, copying Madison's movements with ease. Jill was beginning to catch on to Madison's lead, appreciating how having a co-councelor who could act would come in handy.

As for the kids, they were watching with their jaws dropped to the floor, well, all except Mia who could only see the bottom of Madison's legs, because Jill was on the bed directly above hers. After another two minutes, in which the room went silent for the two actors, Madison pretended to pull away, spinning around and strutting confidently back to her bed.

Once Madison had climbed up the side, she reached her arm in Jill's direction once more.                   "My love!" she called out, looking passionately at Jill's side of the room.

"I miss you already!" Jill called back.

"Wake me at dawn my love!" Madison responded.

"I shan't! Tomorrow is thy day off for me!" Jill yelled out.

"Oh how I know, my love, for I have thy day off as well!" Madison called back.

"Wonderful darling! We shall spend the day together." Jill said back, turning to the side to pick up a book.

"Sleep well, children!" Emma called out, slipping on her bunny sleep mask.

A chorus of "goodnight"'s left the mouthes of all the children, as they lay down to rest.
