"Did you really want to accept that place?"

"No. Not really, I regretted it after two seconds of saying yes."

Jin resists laughing, Jimin is more acidic than he thought he would be. Jimin lets out smoke from the pipe. Jin had never thought of smoking, after all, he's more plant than person and smoke isn't exactly his friend. Nevertheless, Jimin smokes and offered to do so. The blue-haired boy looking outside. It is a considerably gloomy day because of the clouds that dominate the sky. A rather strong storm will fall and because of that, it seems to be more quiet in Hanyang.

"At the same time, life is full of things I don't want to do, but I must do them. It's garbage" Jimin lets out smoke like a dense cloud between his lips. "At least I'm certain that this time, I won't be thrown out like a leprous dog."

"They threw you out?"

"Agust threw me out of the palace within a week of becoming emperor" Jin looks at him with shock and even annoyance. "I suppose had you been here, he would have done the same. We were his daddy's whores after all" Jimin puts his pipe to his mouth and lets out smoke. "Or he just didn't want us there. Either way, he threw me away."

"Oh, uh, I didn't expect that," Jin admits in confusion. "You still agreed to be his snake? Not exist, take care of him. It's a bit..." Jin shakes his head, searching for the word that best fits what he wants to say without being rude. "Incongruous."

Not to say it doesn't make the most fucking sense. Jimin shrugs.

"He's my family and I love him, whatever he does to me. I know he loves me too. Despite all the misfortune that has surrounded us, what we have done to each other intentional or not: we are family and we can't live without each other." says Jimin lowering his voice little by little, it starts to rain. Small transparent droplets create ripples in the garden pond. Soo takes the opportunity to play, a habit she has had since she was a child. "Alone we are weak, that's why the more we were separated, the more we were hurt."

"You think so?"

"Were you good alone?"

Jin shakes his head, not really. He doesn't even know if the anxiety that he might get caught, falling with a person worse than Honjoon, thinking that he left Jimin, Agust and Jungkook; so many worries that were killing and hurting him little by little worsened far away. Here at least he had someone to cry with, someone to ignore the pain with. Even if his escape was a success for getting Taehyung...

It was undoubtedly the period of time where he felt the most broken and vulnerable.

"How did Honjoon get killed?" Jin tilts his head and pink hair falls down his shoulder. Jimin gives a cruel chuckle, curving his thick lips and squinting his eyes.

"I put ricin in his food. Hoesseksori started to agonize, Honjoon went to his room thinking I was going to heal him and Agust killed him. He made huuuuge pikes on his neck and his head exploded" Jimin relates and Jin smiles like someone who hears a charming and happy news. "The stupid really thought it was me and started talking his usual nonsense to him. I think that ornament there was something left of his and Nokssek lady didn't eat." He points to a small ornament on one of them pieces of furniture. It looks like a drop of jade with nothing special. A very ugly, cloudy, dark jade.

"Joh, well, I'm glad it happened that way" Jin concludes untangling his hair. "Only he was dumb enough not to realize he was hitting an animal that could bite him at any moment."

"Oh please, he never really knew Agust."

"I did hear something though..... Funny? By accident" Jimin raises an interested eyebrow. "Empress Eunji was blonde, those with light dragons are naturally blonde and that's inheritable" The blue haired kisaeng purses his lips and furrows his eyebrows. "Sure, Agust has a much paler shade, so yes you can say he's albino, but initially, he's blonde."
