It was 05:59. I was leaned on the hood of my car at the gas station, exhaling the last smokes of my cigarette. I looked at my watch again, and it turned to 06:00. I looked up down the road and noticed an old Fiat dragging it's way towards me. Ben pulled over by the gas station and got out, grabbing a bag, his rifle and putting them in the trunk of the Camaro. We sat in the car. He let a quick scream as he noticed Leh-nna on the back seat.

-Damn it! It will take me a while to get used to this creature.- he said as he was trying to relax. I yawned.

-Good morning to you too.- I said. -Where are we headed first?-

-Let's go to Stinjan. That's the closest one.- he said.

-Alright.- I agreed. Stinjan was actually a part of town, but it was a bit outside. It was just five minutes away. The ride was fast and short. We stopped in the center of Stinjan, at a small stone square with a little church on the edge of it, still in it's place, just a bit damaged. We got out of the car and Ben walked towards the front of the church, said his prayers and crossed.

-Really?!- I was stupefied.

-What?- he reacted.

-You still believe in God?- I asked him. I couldn't believe that people actually kept their faith, after all that happened.

-Is there a reason why I shouldn't?- he counter questioned, as he felt insulted.

-I thought that this thing was over. That people finally realised what religion really is. Just a big fucking manipulation!- I said, frustrated.

-Which does not mean that He doesn't exist! He is the only thing we are holding onto. He is the only one that watches over us.-

-NO!- I yelled out.- At this moment, it's the Prodyans who are watching over us! Literally. And they sent me. An atheist. I don't know what you're seeing in that, but I think it's just as Karl Marx once said. The opium of the people. Would the almighty good God let this happen if he really existed?!-

-Maybe this is the flood, and you are our arc!- Ben was persistent.

-So you do believe me?- I caught him.

-You gave me a proof they exist, which makes it possible that you are right, but I'm still skeptical.- he said.

-So you believe in two completely different things, and you don't know if any of them is true, but you're sticking with God because that's familiar?- I kept criticising.

-Please, let it go.- he was trying to make me give up.

-No! I won't! If I can't convince one person into the truth and make my point valid, there is no need for me to continue this quest. Don't you get it? This the beginning. This is how I begin. One person, will later on help me convince ten more, then those ten will convince hundreds and so on and so on. I can't do it alone. I have to free you from this manipulation, not just the religion, but our minds and nature. I have to convince into a completely different point of view, way of thinking. Pay close attention to what I'm about to tell you. This is what you will believe into in the future. Yourselves. Free yourself from that fear! If you're going to pray to anyone for strength and will to keep going and wait for another beautiful sunrise, do it to yourself. Pray to yourself. God was created on our image, not the other way around. They made him the perfect being. Perfection. It was all just a fairy tale, like any other one. God is our goal. That's what we want to reach. Perfection. The first step to it is to become our own gods, obey ourselves and our needs, free our minds. That's the first step, the first pawn on the board, the first bullet fired. No more praying, sacrificing, God, Allah, or anything else. Now, it's just the human being. You, me, everyone! We made our own ideal and misinterpreted it.-
