I helped my mom set the house for a few hours. "Mama, I'm tired can we take a rest?" "If you take a rest we're not gonna be done in time, also in a few hours, the Madrigals invited us to a ceremony" "Who are the Madrigals?" "You'll see." "Mama I'm taking a five minute break" "Ai, okay" 3 minutes passed. I helped my mom out, in a few hours we were done. "We could've been done sooner if you hadn't taken a break." "Sorry ma.." "It's fine the Madrigals ceremony is in a few my hurry and put this on" "okay" We were ready on time! I saw a boy greeting people, he's so sweet. I got inside the Casita, I was looking at the bot for 1 second, he stared back we both recognized each other. I came to him. "Hey, you're Camilo, right?" "Yep that's me, you're y/n?" "Correct!" "Hey Camilo, you look good!" "Thanks, you too" "So who's ceremony is it?" "Oh it's my little brother's, Antonio" "cool, how old is he?" "He's 5" "So what's this ceremony about, and when is it gonna start?" "In a few- my little bro is getting a miracle, (hopefully) everyone in our family gets one except for mirabel.." "that's sad but cool!" "Right?" "Hold on I'll be back!" "Ok" I tried to find my mom and realized I was lost, but I found Camilo, I ran to him. "Camilo uh, I'm lost" "uhm, HOW DID YOU GET LOST?!" "Long story ig, don't ask questions anyways can I stay with you?" "Sure ig" The ceremony thing was starting. Some lady was talking and I think Antonio was standing there. Not moving. But he was holding a hand out to someone behind him? A girl held his hand and walked with him. Everyone was shocked, I didn't know a thing at all. I asked Camilo who that girl was. "That's Mirabel, she's the only one is our family who didn't get a gift, no one knows why." "Oh, that's sad" "mhm" As Antonio and Mirabel walked up the lady said something about Antonio's gift helping the family, neighborhood, and other things. Antonio touched the candle and then the door, it looked cool we all came up to his room. It looked so cool!!! Everyone was partying. Then took pictures. Suddenly Mirabel came up to his room and said something about the miracle dying the casita was break and the candle almost went out, but it was perfectly fine. No one believed her. Something told me Mirabel did not lie. My mom found me, "let's go home y/n" I said "wait can I say bye to someone?" "Hurry it up then" Camilo found me before I could even run "Y/n are you leaving already?" "Yeah sadly, bye and tell Antonio his miracle / gift was amazing!" "I will, bye y/n cya around sometime." After I went home, my mom told me to go straight to sleep. Weird, she only does that when she's mad, sick, or about to cry. Obviously I felt bad, so I didn't sleep i closed the door to my room and went near my mom's s room. After a few minutes I didn't hear anything, so I was about to go sleep. But then I heard my mom cry. She was mumbling words, I could barely understand a word. All i heard was "ill miss her" My mom didn't wake me up. She probably forgot because she was crying.
