After Garmadon warned the ninja to be on the look out for each other and the kids, they soon arrived at the island. Skylor was definitely not feeling very excited to see her father again. But Kai was there to assure her.
"At least you don't have to go by his rules like before." Kai said.
"Yeah..But..I wouldn't count on it." Skylor sighed.
"Race you to the entrance!" May challenged her older sister.
"May..!" Jay warned.
May pouted and Jay immediately grabbed her hand.
"Remember what we told you.Stay close!" Jay reminded whisperedly(I don't think this is even a word but just pretend it is for this story).
"Ok.." May replied.
"I have never felt so nervous in my life." Sky said.
"What's wrong?" Crystal, who was walking beside Sky, asked.
"Let's just say,..I have just been told a very deep truth." Sky answered.
Crystal was confused but decided to shrug it off. They soon entered the front room.
The NKs weren't the only one going to compete. Like the first Tournament of Elements, there were other opponents too. But they looked nothing like the other elemental masters.
"This is strange.They look nothing like the Elemental Masters we faced years ago." Jay whispered.
"Maybe they're form another realm?" Kai asked.
"All rise for Master Chen!" Clouse said and Master Chen appeared with purple smoke.
"That's a new way to make an entrance." Jay said.
And like always, Chen was acting like his usual-self again.
"Welcome to the Tournament of Elements!!Now,I am sure that you have heard that I did one years ago.But I promise you,this tournament is going to be different!Way different!!" Chen said.
Everyone but the ninja and their kids cheered.
"What have you plan out now?!" Garmadon asked so angrily and everyone turned to him.
Lloyd and Crystal placed their hands on Garmadon's shoulders, trying to calm him down.
"Grandfather,not now." Crystal said.
"Ah..I see that you have return.The previous competitors that decided to ruin the fun when I hosted the FIRST Tournament of Elements!" Chen mocked.
"Well you were-" Garmadon shouted but Crystal stopped him.
"Grandfather,please don't make any trouble.We'll just talk about the last tournament later." Crystal said.
"Oh,this little girl is your granddaughter,huh?" Chen smirked.
Garmadon said nothing. He only pulled Crystal's arm and moved forward to hide her behind him.
"Grandfather..!" Crystal sighed.
"No need to worry.I will not hurt her,or anyone in this room.Now!Let me show you the bracket of your opponents!" Chen announced and the bracket was shown.
Everyone sat back down and waited to see who their opponent would be.
There was one little problem.
"WHAT?!?!" Sky shouted in shock.
"NO!!" Crystal shouted.
