Blaire's POV
A month has now passed and I can tell you that living the single life again was amazing. A lot has changed too.
Especially Ryder.
He's changed so much, it made my teary just thinking about it. Happy tears though. He's been in such a good mood lately.
It was like his pessimistic point of view suddenly vanished. He's been so happy and nice lately. And to top it off, he's improving attitude made peace between him and his father. He's tried to get along with Stella too, and she literally even cried when he offered to help her keep the dishes one night.
I can tell he was Stella's favorite, for some unknown reason. But I know, Ryder would never see her as a new mother. I might not know much, but there's somehow a strong bond between those two.
And I thought it was like father like son.
But even though, I'm glad he's trying. Although, I haven't heard anything about him making a move on Molly...
And, not to mention, his and Ian's bruises have now faded.
Ian and I are still good friends. Though, he just can't stop reminding me that he loves me, not that I minded. It made my heart flutter every time.
Myles and Bia are still the sweetest. Nothing has changed much, they were still the lovebirds everyone didn't want to see every morning.
Molly and I still keep in touch, but she never mentioned Ryder. Polly though, she refused to hang with us after her "battle" with Bia.
"Need help?"
I turn around, seeing Ian leaning on the doorframe, "You think you could help me? You can't even keep your room clean," I tease.
I was now in the middle of folding my clothes. My parents were coming home today, and we agreed I'd meet them at home, instead of the airport. So I was packing my things.
After, Myles was to drive me home. Because Daniel insisted that I needed company in my own car.
"If its a no, just say so," he raises his hands in surrender. He then walks up to my bed, laying on it. "It'll be different... to have this room empty," he mumbles, but made it loud enough for me to hear. He rolls on his side, staring at me.
"It'll be different having to live at my house again," I chuckle, noticing how weird it sounded. But that's how I felt.
We were in silence after that. I was just packing my things. Him just laying there, staring at me.
I shoved the last thing into my suitcase, zipping it up. The tension only rises when I stand, dragging my wheeled-suitcase behind me.
"Cupcake?" His voice makes me pause in my tracks, and then around.
"Yeah?" I trail off.
"Don't I get a kiss before you go?"
"This isn't going to be forever," I retort. "We'll probably start visiting in less than twenty four hours."
He opens his arms out wide, "C'mere."
I smile, walking up to him, leaving my suitcase where it was. I get on the bed, crawling to where he was sitting. I stop in front of him, sitting down.
He slowly leans in, slow enough to give me the chance to stop him. But I didn't. I lean in too, so our lips pressed together.
It was a slow and sweet kiss, something I didn't think Ian would be capable of doing, considering our first kiss...
