Blaire's POV
"Ian, I said stop!" I shout, wanting him to stop hitting the boy senseless.
I know he punched me, and threw me, and yes, both my cheek and head hurt, but I just couldn't take seeing all the blood.
I wanted to stand up and try yanking him away from Damien, but somehow, standing up was at the back of my mind.
Once I hear sirens, I panic. Please don't be police cars. Once I turn to look, I realized I jinxed it. Police cars and an ambulance was moving this way.
"Ian!"
We could have a small chance of getting out of here. Its small, but possible. If only he turned around to see me warning him, we could run out of here.
Though he ignores me.
The police cars park, officers running out. One yanks Ian off the bloody monster, and cuffing him.
Oh no.
I jolt when someone taps my shoulder, "Yes?"
"Miss, could you lay on the stretcher? We'll take you to the hospital to examine your bruises," says a woman in a white uniform.
I don't really understand why I need a stretcher, since my legs are completely fine. Though I think it'd be weird if I, the patient would just be sitting at the front with all the paramedics. This girl knew what she was doing, and I wasn't going to question her, "Okay."
I look over to Ian as she helps me walk to the stretcher, though I didn't really need help.
Ian gives me a sheepish smile, his hands behind him and cuffed. He looked so cute, I couldn't help but smile through the pain in my head and cheek.
Ugh, I'll be having a bruises here for sure!
***
I woke up from my nap, my eyes squinting at the light, adjusting to it.
I wasn't even sleepy when I got here, but the doctor insisted I needed rest, but I wasn't sleepy, so they injected some drug into my that made me dizzy.
So I eventually fell asleep.
"Blaire Hills?" A nurse says from beside my bed. "A woman is here, she says she's your mother. Should I send her in?"
"Yes!" I cover my mouth, realizing how loud my tone was. "Yes, please."
"Sure."
Soon enough, my mom runs through the door, "Honey, what happened to--- Goodness, your face!" Her eyes narrow into slits, "Who should I destroy?"
I chuckle, "Ian already did that for me."
She sighs, a smile now on her face, "I like that boy, even if he was your old boyfriend's brother."
"I like him too," I sigh dreamily. "Wait a minute, you do?!"
"Yes, and don't tell your father I told you this, but he doesn't hate him completely."
"You'd approve if I dated him?"
"Hold on a second, what are you talking about?" She gives me a face. "You're bruised and asking me questions like that? You haven't even told me what happend!"
"Right... sorry," I realize. "Um, I met up with Molly's boyfriend, I slapped him for being with another girl, he punched me, my head hit the floor, and Ian beat him into a pulp."
"Where is he?"
"Damien? In jail," I shrug.
"How about Ian?"
"Jail too."
"Why?" Her eyes bug out.
"For beating up---"
Before I could explain, the door bursts open, Ian running in, "Cupcake I'm so--- Mrs. Hills, hey?"
She crosses her arms, raising a teasing brow at him, "Why are you here, son?"
He clears his throat nervously, "I came to see how Blaire was doing." He looked so nervous it was cute.
She takes a few steps closer to him, face to face now, "Is that so?"
"Yeah?"
"Well you destroyed Dammy, so I love you," she hugs him.
"Ugh, yeah..." he awkwardly hugs back.
She releases him, "By the way, I approve! I know something was going on between the two of you, and I was right!"
"What?" I gape.
"You never had a single room at that hotel, did you?"
"What? I..." I blush. "I did!"
She smirks, "Okay." She turns to Ian, patting his back, "Take care of her, okay?"
"I will."
Today couldn't have been more perfect... though if we didn't meet Damien, Ian didn't go to jail, I didn't get bruises, it'd be so much better.
