[13] Ditching

Blaire's POV

"You okay?" I ask. My voice so quiet, that it was almost a whisper.

"I'm fine," she says, looking back at me. "I'm just mad at him, Ian I mean."

"You still love Ryder?"

"No!" She almost shouts, "Its just… I really loved him. Now everything's awkward. I'm actually already seeing this guy---"

"Who?!"

"His name's Damien," she sighs dreamily. "He's really nice," she says, wiping the tears from her eyes.

"So you don't love him anymore?"

"Of course. What we had was history, and I can see that he really likes you. So I approve."

I cautiously walk into school grounds, in search of Ryder, when I hear someone call my name, "Blaire!"

I quickly spun around, "Listen Ian, I don't have time to talk---"

"I fucking know that Molly told you, okay?" He interrupts me, placing his hand on my cheek, caressing it, "I just don't want you to think of me any different."

"Nothing's changed." Big lie.

I saw, technically heard, a whole new side of Ian. Yeah, yeah he was the typical playboy that you find in books, but I didn't actually think that he'd shag a random drunk girl.

Let alone his brother's girlfriend.

He could've at least took time to clearly look at who he did the deed with.

"You're quiet. You're lying," he insists.

"Nothing's changed, Ian."

"You don't like me anymore, do you?" His voice rises, but he lowers it.

"Of course I like you---"

His hand snakes around my back, pulling me up against him so he could whisper in my ear, "Not the like we talked about the other day. Before Ryder ruined shit for us."

I shiver, feeling his nose caress my neck. I quickly recovered though, pushing him away, "Don't touch me."

"Wha---"

"You just want it, don't you? You just want to get in my pants?" I snarl. He opens his mouth, but I speak first, "Leave me alone!"

I turn on my heel and walk away… only he grabs my arm and spins me around.

And he presses his lips on mine.

My eyes instinctively close, and I eventually kiss back. His arms wrap around me, keeping me close, as if I was leaving.

Technically I was.

My hands play with his hair, messing it up, as his tongue slips into my mouth.

My eyes pop open, and I shove him away.

"I know what you're trying to do! You're trying to me make me like you! Thinking that kissing me could change everything! Well, you're wrong!"

"Cupcake, listen, I really l---"

"Shut up! Shut up!" I shout, running the other way.

But you know stories; I eventually bump someone.

I look up to see Ryder. And sigh, wrapping my arms around him in a comforting hug, "Help."

"Ryder, lemme talk to her," I hear Ian behind me, facing Ryder.

"What did you do to her?" Ryder seemed mad, and I look up to see that he is.

I then turn around, to see Ian looking at me, "I'm sorry, angel."

"What did you do?!" Ryder almost yells.

"Its okay," I interrupt, my hand finding Ryder's. "Let's just go."

"Wait cupcake, I---"

"We're leaving." I glare at Ian, leaving with Ryder. "Let's ditch this place," I suggest, a bit surprised that I was willing to ditch school.

I'm not a nerd or anything, but I've never ditched school, that is; if I was already here.

"I thought you'd never ask."

And we ditched.

"This was fun. That movie was tight." I say, acting all hipster.

Ryder laughs, "you're messed up, you know that? Were you dropped as a kid?"

"Only a couple of times," I joke, winking for effect.

"I hate to tell you this; but I'm glad Ian did something, that made you want to hang out today," he says. "I just hate it everytime he gets to be with you."

"Why is that?" I tease.

"'Cuz there ain't anyone like you, baby," he says, pecking me on the cheek. "No one."

Once his lips leave my cheek, I can't help but blush.

Okay, about the last chapter. It hanged. Like, I wasn't even supposed to update it yet!

That's why there was so much errors. I'll try to fix them soon. The thing is, Wattpad is being a bitch.

So i couldn't open the chapter to edit it. Grrrr! But im trying. ;)
