Blaire's POV
My eyes gaze at my wall clock for the thirtieth time today, wondering if I should start preparing for my date with Ian.
Was it even a date?
"No," I tell myself. I'd probably seem desperate if I winded up on their doorstep at this time.
It was still 1:00 pm, on this sunny Saturday. But didn't we agree on 7:00? I don't really remember.
I sigh, standing up from my bed. I needed to do something to kill time. I walk out of my room, walking all the way to the living room.
We weren't exactly the richest people around, nor were we short on money, but we were fund of saving. My family and I live in this one-story house. It wasn't as huge as the Coleman's mansion, but it was just enough.
I didn't exactly have a TV in my room, so I plop myself on the couch, grabbing the remote and flipping through different TV channels.
But frankly, nothing was good.
I sit up once more, deciding that I should get out. Maybe run a few blocks to get my mind off of things.
I run back into my room, changing into a tank top and jogging pants. I quickly placed my sneakers on, tying the shoelaces on tight. I spontaneously grab mom's old binoculars, before heading outside.
I set an alarm on my phone. Making sure that I'd get enough time to get ready, after my run.
I run around for a bit, until I got tired. I stopped for a second, catching my breath, deciding that I'd put these binoculars to good use. I bring it against my eyelids, looking into it.
I saw a lot of things. A cat fighting with another cat, a little girl licking her ice cream, and even a mom scolding her son.
But neither of those shocked me as much as this.
No, it wasn't any of the Coleman brothers, if that's what your thinking.
It was Molly.
She stood miles away from me, but with these binoculars, I could see perfectly clear what she was doing.
She was with a guy. Her hands tangled in his hair, and his hands gripping her thighs, supporting her weight, since her legs were wrapped around his waist. He had her pressed against a wall, as they made out.
Molly was such a sweet girl. Seeing her make out with that dude, made me surely shocked, but I can assure you, this doesn't change anything at all. She's young, she should be free to do those things.
Its just... a bit shocking. Since its Molly.
"What're you staring at?"
Myles' voice makes me scream, nearly dropping the binoculars. My cheeks heat up, knowing I've been caught staring at Molly. He didn't exactly know what I was looking at, since it was fairly far, but it was embarrassing anyway.
"Nothing." I frantically shake my head, my eyes trying not to make contact with his.
He laughs, "Okay."
"What are you doing around here, anyway?" I change the subject, though I was curious.
"Ryder was having another argument with dad, over something stupid obviously. But I'm sure it was about Ryder losing the TV remote." He admits, "I just... I was thinking, and... it wasn't easy to think with them screaming."
I wanted to ask why Ryder and their father would bicker over such little things, but I didn't want to enter their personal life. "What were you thinking about?"
