Me and my friend from yesterday further discussed what would need to happen if I was to hide Mimi with me. We agreed that it would be relatively easy to hide her, except for one problem.
Where would she go to the bathroom?
It sounds stupid, I know, but it's not easy to hide a litter box anywhere in my room (even under my bed). We can technically still do it, I would just need a way to clean it, dispose of the waste, and change into fresh litter relatively easy. And without it smelling so bad that my parents would notice.
Luckily, the fumes from the kitchen directly pass through the attic, and then over to my room. So often, my room smells like pizza or pastries we baked in the oven. That might overpower the smell of cat waste.
Might. It's worth a shot.
The other alternative was to train her to use a human toilet. That would take some time and training, but it might be beneficial in the long run. She would have to stealthily hide though to get to our house's nearest bathroom, so it would probably be easier to use the litter box method.
Plus, I feel like we understand each other pretty well.
