I decided today to research something very... interesting? It's technically a type of Mythical, so I was curious to know more about it, especially since I haven't put it on my Wikia yet.

Object Mythicals (more commonly called Objectkin).

These Mythicals usually belief in animism -- that objects have souls and feelings. To an extent, you've probably practiced the teachings of animism as a kid with your toys. Whether you apologized to your my little pony whenever you dropped it, or you had full on conversations with your plush dog, you've lived animism to some degree.

But because these Mythicals believe in animism, they believe their Mythical species is an object. Some are like toys (the most popular seems to be Doll Mythicals). But others are more... weird. Like a spoon or shoe, for example.

Yeah. There are people who believe they are shoes.

In terms of most Mythicals, I know they are real. But, like my opinion on Fiction Mythicals, my opinion is limited. And I know some Object Mythical would cancel me for this opinion, so I must step carefully.

Only Object Mythicals that are toys are real Mythicals (with a few exceptions). Keep in mind this is my opinion, but I will now at least attempt to explain myself.

I believe that toys that are thoroughly loved by their owners can develop souls as their owner plays with them. When their owner begins to stop playing with them or the toy is worn out, this soul is shed and lost.

We do not play with spoons or shoes like we do with toys. That is the difference. I personally believe people that claim they are things like doors, pants, and more just heavily relate to the purposes those objects fulfill. A toy's purpose is determined by their owner, which gives them more openness and opportunity.

Feel free to counter my argument; I'm completely open to it.
