Elijah's POV:

Today was Jade's birthday. She turned 20. Whenever I look into her eyes, I see innocence and indifference which is adorable. Not a care in this world. I wish I could be more like her. When she rests beside me in the same bed, My whole body feels an attraction. I know that this was a contract marriage but I don't think she feels the same way. She is a free-minded spirit. Today, she looked so sexy in the little black dress. She is my wife and she is human. It's okay for me to get a little worried about her. I went to the same bar in which she is going out with her friends. I pick a table from which she and her friends were visible. She comes in and this crowd of 10 people greet and wish her. She sits with them and they order stuff and one lady walks in and wishes her. Jade smiles at her as soon as the lady looks away, her smile vanishes. She widened her eyes at Theo.  

Jade's POV:

It feels so great to be out of the house again and I saw all my squad. We are gonna have a blast! Every one of my dearest friends is here. We order a bunch of stuff and we settle down We were just catching up. And suddenly, Penelope enters. WHO THE FUCK INVITED HER? I smile at her as I didn't wanna seem impolite. I widened my eyes at Theo. I took him and Eliana in a corner and asked, "Why is SHE here?" I ask them.

"Oh, it's all in the past, Jade," Eliana says. We went back in there and someone suggested playing truth and dare. We unravel everyone's little secrets and love life. We were just laughing and we were the liveliest group there. It was teenage stuff and it felt so good. I was having fun after a lot of time. We were pretty close with each other. We were 8 people. Two of us had to go home. I was pretty drunk by then. I had five vodka shots using my new 'Mrs. Mikaelson' identity. The bottles land on me and Laura. She was wild.

"So truth or dare?" She asked.

"Truth," I said.

"What's your sex fantasy?"

" I am a virgin. So, the first time's gotta be soft and nice but. Oh god. Um okay, I am super submissive. hehe, Like I like a gentleman in the street but a beast in bed. Like what's sex without a little spanking kink?" The whole group laughed at this statement. We ordered 4 pizzas and we ate it. The bottle landed on me and Penelope.

"So, truth or dare?" She asked.

"So is this true that your husband refused to kiss you at the altar?" She said which got me and the group alarmed. 

"Yo, that's not cool Penelope," Eddy said.

"Yaa what's your problem, girl"? Laura said.

"It's okay guys! Yaa, he didn't kiss me at the altar." I said.

"My turn! Penelope truth or dare?" I said.

"Truth." She said smirking.

"Is it true that you are a whore?" I asked which made the whole group gasp. 

"WHAT? This is unbelievable! I am leaving." She left. We all looked at each other and broke into a chuckle. We all went to the karaoke booth next. 

Elijah's POV:

I  was listening to everything. Everyone liked Jade. She was like the queen bee but she was polite and hospitable. She was the perfect girl. I got tensed up after listening to Penelope question her about the kiss at the altar but she handled that well. Her friends and she went to the karaoke booth. She picked up something to sing but Theo insisted she picks a different song. She looked so sexy and when she started singing and dancing, I began liking her more. Her perfect body and her bold voice. She was singing Taylor Swift's Paper rings which Theo insisted she sing because she was married. She danced with her friends for an hour. I saw every guy in the bar drooling ever her. I also felt this slight agony in my heart when they hit on her and the sense of relief when she turned them down. She had ten more shots of Vodka. She was barely on her feet. I was smiling the whole time watching her dance and party with people her age. I went outside for a little time and when I went inside in, there was no sign of Jade and Theo. I was worried and began to search for her. She was in the corner and all her friends left and she was just looking at her phone. This guy went over to her.

"Hey, sexy! You look beautiful." The guy said.

"Wish I could say the same about you." She said and sipped her drink which made me choke on mine. The guy was pissed and moved closer to her. I sped towards them and stopped him.

"What do you think you're doing?" I said looking over to the guy.

"I am gonna show this woman her fucking place." He said and approached violently towards her when I caught him by his wrist. He started groaning with pain.

"That's my wife you're talking about," I said and showed my fangs to him. He trembled in fear and ran away. Jade looked at me and laughed.

"Dude, that was so cool." She said and got up and almost tripped because she was drunk. I caught her in my arms and carried her home. 

"Hey, can you pass me a hair clip from my purse?"

"Sure." I went and when I grabbed the hair clip but my eyes fell on a pregnancy test. what's a pregnancy test doing in her bag? She is a virgin. Is she seeing someone? 

She passed out as soon as I put her on the bed. I covered her with the blanket and lay beside her. After a few minutes, I hear her murmuring, "I love you too, Peter." in her sleep. It fueled my frustration and heartbreak. It felt like she stomped on my heart and broke it into a million pieces. Who is Peter? Why haven't I heard about him before?
