Although it was their second wedding, it was different and more special than the first one. People may not understand, but they did. This time, it was different. It was not only a wedding, it was a marriage. And Jade got the fairytale wedding she always dreamt of. Everything was according to her. From the choice of flowers to vows, it felt right. She had a blast at the bachelor party. Eliana was the maid of honor, Theo would walk her down the Aisle. Klaus would officiate the wedding and the Mikaelson sisters would be bridesmaids. Jade herself got to choose the wedding dress and finally felt fulfilled.

When she walked down the aisle, the smile that rested on her lips was genuine and her eyes had a twinkle of hope this time. Elijah couldn't contain his tears watching his bride walk down the aisle. Elijah dreamt of this day many times as a boy and this was it. His special day and hers too.
"Life has taught me many things to date but the most important thing was that you don't get to control everything in your life. When we first met, everything was going wrong. It felt like my life was being snatched from me but during those times, you held my hand and told me, everything was going to be okay. I watched every wrong becoming a right in your embrace. It feels like yesterday when I was crying on the other side of the bed and you consoled me. So, as long as I am with the right person, nothing can go wrong. And you Elijah Mikaelson, are the right person for me." Jade said failing to hold back tears. Elijah wiped her tears with his hands.
"Jade, you have seen me at my best and my worst. You have seen me as an archer and as prey. You make me question everything. You made me realize that I should not let my past define me and I know now that I can choose to be happy. I can choose to love and be loved by you. I Elijah Mikaelson, choose you, my love." Jade held Elijah's hand in response and they both exchanged rings.
"With this ring, I thee wed," spoke the couple turn by turn and kissed at the alter.
