"Do you feel better?" the ravenette lady with a pink collard blouse spoke, she sat across you on a black office chair with a laptop sitting on her lap.

"Am I feeling better or is it because of the medicine I'm relying on?" clicking sound echoed the room as she begin typing away on her laptop after you completed your sentence.

"The medication doesn't cure you. It can only help you cope with your emotions better, you've to work on yourself to see results. Perhaps you can find some time to seek new hobbies. Do you still experience nightmares?"

"Every night without fail." you yawned. After repeated visits to the psychiatrist, you were bored out of your mind, every visit felt like a time loop. The doctor would ask the same question each time and you'll give her the same response.

Sure, your tendency to kill has lessened but you believed it was only because of the medication suppressing your emotions. You knew everything would come back again once you stop depending on these tablets.

"Alright, that's all the time we've for today. I'll cut down on your prescription. See you next week, Miss Ueno." you stood up and made your way to the exit.

"Done?" Ran strolled towards you as you enter the main hall. "I need a new hobby, she says." you shrugged.

"Are you sure you want to do this?! Even though there's a 97% chance you will never be able to—

"I'm just a puppet made to kill. Get on with it already."

You screamed in pain as you sat up in cold sweat, the only thing you can hear now was your heavy panting as you continuously rubbed your forearm. Your room door slammed open as the light from the hallway pierced into your room.

"Y/N?! Are you okay?!" Rindo barged into the room and rubbed your back. A few minutes later Ran appeared in your room with a cup of water, you took the glass from him and started chugging it down.

"Another nightmare?" Ran retrieved the empty glass from your hands and sat in front of you.

"Just a bad memory." you wiped the sweat off your face with the back of your hands. You thought you'd moved on already but it seems like you can never escape from your past...

You soon went back to sleep as the brothers tugged you into bed and only left after they confirmed you were sound asleep. Your recurring episodes of nightmares were starting to raise concerns for them especially since you refused to talk about the content of your dreams.

"Ran, I'm aware of your feelings for her but I won't give her up just because you're my brother," Rindo whispered, his voice filled with assertion as he slowly closed the bedroom door, trying to make as little noise as possible.
