Guess who lied again? *slowly raises hand* BUT
I FINALLY GOT AWAY FROM HOMEWORK AND TESTS AND NETFLIX. Wait... You weren't suppose to know about the Netflix thing... OH WELL.Today, Ezra was training Kona to fight Imperials along side the rebels. Kona had grown very rapidly over the last few weeks, and was now standing as tall as Ezra's knee.
"Alright, Kona." Ezra whispered. "Attack the helmet, and bring it back. Ok?" Ezra looked over at the puppy who barked quietly in response.
"Ok. Ready?" Ezra whispered. "Go, Kona! Attack!" Ezra yelled, jumping up and pointing at the Storm Trooper helmet. Kona growled and barked as she jumped at the helmet. She landed on top of the helmet and rolled with it for a few seconds.
"Kona! Bring it back!" Ezra shouted. Kona jumped up with the trooper helmet in her mouth and wagged her tail. She ran back to Ezra and dropped the helmet at his feet.
"Good girl! You're getting better!" Ezra said, picking the puppy up and scratching her head. "You're getting big! Pretty soon, you're going to be able to come on missions!" Ezra had been training with Kona all week. He had trained her how to dodge blaster shots, how to move quickly and quietly, how to activate a bomb, and Ezra was even working on something that would help her communicate better with him in a battle.
"Alright. That's enough training for today. It's getting dark." Hera said, walking down the ships ramp. "How is she doing?"
"Really good! She has gotten better at her pouncing, she knows how to activate a bomb, she is really good at dodging blaster shots, and I'm almost done with that thing I told you about."
"The thing?" Hera asked.
"Yeah! Remember? The thing?" Ezra said, not wanting to spoil the surprised for Kona.
"Oh right!" Hera said, remembering what Ezra was talking about. "Well, come inside now. It's getting dark and Kona looks tired." Hera said, patting the puppy on her head.
"Ok."
10 minutes later...
Ezra was sitting in the common room working on the 'thing' for Kona well she rested on his bed.
"Hey, Ezra. What are you working on?" Sabine asked as she sat down across the table from Ezra.
"That thing I was telling you about. You know, the thing for Kona." Ezra replied.
Sabine raised an eyebrow. "I don't see how that's going to help her communicate."
"Well it's not done yet! But it should be done by tomorrow morning." Ezra said, screwing something into place.
Sabine nodded. "Well... Will it work?"
Ezra shrugged. "We're going to find out tomorrow!"
The next morning...
Ezra was finishing up the 'thing' for Kona in his room, and the rest of the crew, including Kona, were all sitting in the common room.
"Do you really think it's going to work?" Hera asked Kanan.
"I don't know." Kanan shrugged. "He did build his lightsaber."
"That's true." Hera said, petting Kona who was laying in her lap. Kona let out a low purring sound.
"Hey, guys!" Ezra said, walking into the room with something behind his back. "Kona! Come here, girl!" He said, kneeling down. Kona barked happily and jumped out of Hera's lap as she ran to Ezra.
"I still don't see how anything could love Ezra." Zeb said, crossing his arms.
"Shut up, Zeb." Ezra said. "Kona! You ready to see your surprise?" Kona barked and waged her tail. "Ok! Here it is!" Ezra pulled a brand new collar with a strange knob on it out from behind his back.
"So, Ezra. Explain." Kanan said.
"Ok." Ezra said, slipping the collar over Kona's head and turning the knob. "It might take a second... But just listen." Everyone listens for a minute but nothin happened.
Sabine crossed her arms. "Um, Ezra... Nothin is ha-"
"BACON!" Sabine was cut off by a scream.
"AHH! WHO WAS THAT?!" Sabine shouted, pulling her knees to her chest.
"BACON!" The 'person' screamed again.
Ezra smiled. "That's what Kona is thinking! She obviously wants bacon."
Kona looked around the room and her tail stopped wagging.
"Why are they looking at me like that?" Her collar said. "Why can I hear myself thinking out loud?"
"Because we can too!" Ezra said, petting the puppy. Kona looked up at Ezra and stared at him for a minute.
"You can?" Kona asked, getting a little bit excited.
"Yup! Your new collar has a built in translator so now we can hear what you're thinking. Now you don't have to bark all the time!" Ezra replied.
Kona's tail started to wag. "This is awesome! Now I can finally do this!" Kona walked over to the couch, right up to Zeb, and bit his foot hard.
"OUCH! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!" Zeb shouted, grabbing his foot.
"That's for always trying to get rid of me!" Kona barked.
"Haha! Looks like Kona finally got back at you, Zeb!" Sabine said.
"Oh, I'm not done. I've barley even started to get revenge on him." Kona said darkly as she turned and walked back to Ezra.
The look on Zeb's face was priceless. "You better lock that fur ball up, Ezra..." Zeb said before standing and walking out of the room.
Ezra smiled as he picked Kona up and walked out of the ship with her. Everyone scooted backwards as Ezra and Kona walked past.

PLEASE DON'T KILL ME I KNOW I LIED AND I'M SORRY THIS IS SO SHORT.
I was busy all week and I just found time to write this chapter in History. HISTORY IS BORING
(Don't tell my teacher I said that...)
Anyways, I'm going to a friends and spending the night tonight, I have horseback riding on Saturday afternoon, church on Sunday morning, but I can probably start something on the way to horseback riding and finish it on the way home. (My instructor lives 45 minutes away.) And if I don't finish it on the way home, I will finish it on the way to church.
Anyways, I better go.
Bye guys! ~Kaylie :)
