"Don't touch my laptop

"Don't touch my laptop."

"Don't lay on the carpet."

"Don't open the fridge."

"STAY AWAY FROM DALGOM'S BOWL THAT'S NOT FOR YOU!" Taehyung was kind of rethinking his choice of human. Sure her extensive profile that he had studied before dropping there was suitable for his needs and her reaction to the dummy head he'd smuggled from one of the medical schools was funny, but she was sort of limiting his exploration requirements.

"Jisoo I can't really know about the earth if you keep on restricting me from doing things. I need to experience them in order to know about them." He explained, shrugging his comical coat a little. Oh right, his outfit was another disaster. Neon yellow pair of pants with a mustard yellow shirt tucked in it, the apparently three size bigger coat reaching his super green shoes. He would definitely attract people's attention if he paraded through the streets dressed like that.

"Are you really not gonna give up on your stupid alie- I mean 'extraterrestrial' nonsense?" Jisoo asked, pinching the bridge of her nose in slight annoyance. No matter how endearing the other seemed, his backstory was a little, no scratch that, totally ridiculous.

"You still don't believe me?" Taehyung sighed, taking small strides towards the love couch beside the big glass window in the living. Jisoo dragged a chair from the dining table and set it opposite to the hazel-haired.

"What will it take for you to believe me?"

"I don't know, surprise me."

Taehyung nodded slowly, lowering his head a little and stretching his arms out in front. Jisoo backed up a little at the sudden action, it looked as if he was asking or more like pleading for something. Dalgom had bumbled into the room but seeing the strange scene, even he decided not to pester his mom for his pre-lunch snack.

Jisoo was watching his extended arm intently, making sure not to miss out on whatever was going to happen. True, she wasn't sure if anything will happen and she was far from believing him being from 'another planet' but she was a sucker for magic tricks. And this looked like it was going to be one of them.

The grandfather clock on the wall kept ticking, the time passing with no disruption or pigeon coming out of his sleeve like Jisoo had expected. The man seemed to be mumbling something under his breath, his brows furrowed showing his high levels of concentration. At times his tongue stuck out a little, an action Jisoo couldn't help but find extremely cute.

"Um not to disturb...whatever you're doing but I would be grateful if you could speed the process up a little." She said softly and Taehyung's eyes shot up at the voice. His coffee-brown eyes immediately fell on the curious pair of darl orbs in front of him. He didn't realize how close she had gotten all this while and he blinked in amusement.

"W-why are you staring like that, freak?" Red was creeping up on her face as his eyes didn't even waver, his intent stare continuing. After a moment of lack of response, Jisoo groaned and tossed her head back. It was in annoyance and also to escape his intense gaze.

Taehyung was still staring at her, his big eyes following her every move. It was more of a habit of his, whenever he was to concentrate or ponder about something, he had two options to bring his focus. Either close his eyes or follow the movements of one particular thing. As the human was the one who interrupted his first option, she was now to be the subject to his weird stares.

"I think I know why it isn't working!" Jisoo yelped at the sudden announcement. Taehyung was now standing on the couch, his hand in air at his discovery. This man was just a surprise after another.

He looked at the brown haired human who looked a little weirded out and also shocked by his sudden victorious outburst. He sheepishly got down from the couch and without any warning, pulled the woman off her seat.

"I need you to hold my hand."

"WHA- NO!" Why were her cheeks on fire? She quickly caged her hand from his grasp, keeping her hands behind her back and looking at him in shock and confusion. The man was simply smiling at her, extending an arm for her to hold.

"Why do you need...to hold my hand?" Jisoo asked, a little cautious of this hyper-active being. Again, going back to his sheepish antics, the man rubbed his neck slightly in embarrassment.

"I couldn't connect to Irene, she's most probably busy with Liberation day's preparations." said Taehyung, deep in thought about what might be the color coding of this year's celebrations. So engrossed in his thoughts of back home that he failed to notice Jisoo's look of puzzlement, she was left dumbfounded with his words.

"Wha- who's Irene and what's Liberation day?" she couldn't help but blutter out her queries. He looked a little taken aback, not having thought she might be interested in his civilization.

"Oh so you do believe that I'm from anot-"

"No I don't but I want to know how far your little made up stories will go."

"Oh if you don't believe me then I need to prove it to you first."

Not giving her a say in it, he grabbed her slender arm in his hand as his other arm was still extended. Looking at her with a cute smile, he mumbled something which sounded similar to 'babushka' and before Jisoo had the time to question or withdraw her hand, a small poof of air whirled in the man's previously empty hand and the next thing she knew, there was a small picture frame which seemed oddly similar to the one broken by him before. Her pupils dilated in shock and awe as he now carefully placed the frame on her clammy hand.

It was quite small, like a miniature version of it that you'd use in a doll house. But the proud look on the man's face overlooked that fact as he was now joyously making his way to the unbothered dog.

"Did you see that Dalgom~ I did that so perfectly! My teacher would've been so proud of me."

And Jisoo was left there with a photo frame on her palm and a dilemma at hand.

She either had a brilliant magician or an alien in her house.
