(Two months later)

"I hope you don't mind living above the shop, so to speak," Paul remarked as he opened the door of the apartment situated above his new Dublin resturaunt.  Alison followed behind him, with her suitcase.

""I don't mind at all" she replied happily, "As long as we can actually be together at last, that the main thing"

" Yeah I reckon so too, still, it will do for now, till I get the resturaunt up and running, and then I plan to get us a a nice house outside Dublin, I have been checking the market already" Paul then informed her

"Wow you don't waste time" Alison laughed," Do you think you will be able to think of Dublin as your home?" she then enquired, its a lot different , and maybe not so popular as London, so I guess its a bit of a come down for you" she pointed out a little worriedly because it had been something that had been bothering her, about his desicion to move.

"Nonsense," Paul replied "Dublin has a certain international feel to it, with various nationalities settling here from all over Europe and America, and I am sure the new resturant will do well, I have no problem with it. Yes I might have to rebuild my reputation up again, but I don't mind that.. it will be a challenge.. and even better I will have you with me, without all the hassle of my past hanging over us" Paul reminded her

"Well when you put it like that, it does sound like a good move," Alison relented

"And the other good thing is you are not too far from Rathendene, we can always return for the odd  weekend or for short breaks, and you will be able to stay in contact with Teresa and the others, even invite them to stay" Paul then reminded her cheerfully

"True, and its not a long journey from London to Dublin by plane, when your family want to visit us as well" Alison realised.

"It was the most wonderful piece of luck your father finding out about this place going on the Market, It has solved all our problems" she said, "And I think I am going to enjoy living above the shop, and being able to be near you all the time

"Hmm, you might get sick of looking at me eventually" Paul teased

"Never," she replied  now wrapping her arms around him almost possesively, and he loved every moment of it  "we have a lot to make up for all that time we were apart" she reminded him

"Oh don't worry, I have every intention of doing that" he informed her,  his arm tightening around her

"Welcome home sweetheart" he then said kissing her gently on the lips.

Alison just sighed contentedly leaning against him, feeling that she was indeed home at last.....
