the last days

i wake up to the sound of kids screaming. the sunlight is shining on my face as i open my eyes. my mind is a little blurry and when i feel besides i notice jensen is gone. i shake my head trying to clear it and sit up. i am pretty sure i know what happened yesterday and as those memories find a way to the front of my brain i start smiling wide feeling rather proud of myself. quickly i jump out of bed and check the time 11am . shit i slept in pretty late. i quickly recover my brush from my bag and run it true my hair. i put my hair in a braid as the pool water made it all fuzzy and curly. i trying to look a bit presentable when i put on the dress again regretting i didnt bring anything else. i splash some water on my face. when i open the door i look around for a second trying to remember how i got in this room. but those parts of yesterday seem to be rather blurry so i take a guess and start walking the way i think is the right way to go. i hear jareds voice from somewhere and decide to follow it hoping it will lead me somewhere usefull. i nock on the double doors i hear jareds voice from before opening it. jared is sitting behind a desk on the phone. he gives me a smile and a nod when i walk in as silent as i can as not to disturb him. " i need to find downstairs " i whisper to him . he covers the phone with his hand . "out the door to the right . you'll find the stairs" . i nod at him and mouth a thank you before going back the way i came. when i finally manage to reach the kitchen i see gen working on something behind the stove. " goodmorning " i greet her . she turns around and smiles at me " goodmorning , if you can hold of on eating lunch is almost ready , jensen and the kids are outside " she points her spatula towards the back door. i thank her and go see what they are up too . i haven't had the chance to meet jared and gen's kids so i am excited as i walk outside.

when i reach the pool i stop and look . jensen in is the pool with the 3 children tossing them away into the water as they swim back to him yelling him to do it again. jensen is laughing hard all the while encouraging the children to swim faster. i chuckle softly and sit down on a lawn chair taking in the view . jensen jumps up and down making waves in the water while the children squeal and laugh trying to get away from him. " uncle jen ? " one kid asks him . jensen turns to look at him . " who is she ? " the kid asks pointing at me . jensen turns to look at me and smiles even wider " that thomas is my grilfriend , but don't tell anyone " jensen laughs at the young boy who exclaims something about gross before continuing the play . i smile fond at them , hah he said girlfriend... wait what girlfriend? oh god .. i start to freak out as every possible doomsday scene finds its way in my brain. " hang on kids " i hear jensen say in the distance followed by some splashing. a few minutes later i feel his cold wet hand on my shoulder " layla , you alright ? " he asks kneeling down so he can look me in the eyes . i nod my head not looking at him. " what happened? " he asks worry slipping into his voice. " girlfriend " i mutter horrified . jensen instantly lets go and takes a step back . i look up at his face it is showing hurt " no , no jensen not like that , i don't think its a bad thing. it just very much caught me of guard and i am worried " i rattle the words too fast for them to make much sense . " you have your phone in your pocket " jensen suddenly asks not answering to what i have been rattling before. completely caught of guard i shake my head no not getting what he suddenly is on about. " good " is all he says before lifting me up in his arms and walking towards the pool. the second i notice what he is doing i start to squirm and ask to be let down . " nonono , jensen please ?! " i laugh . he looks down at me with a wicked smile . i stroke his cheek " hi dean " i say fondly giving him a mischievous smile. first his eyes go wide in surprise before he realises i am right and he starts to glare at me . without another word he lets go of me and i fall in the pool . i cough when i break surface again and start laughing along with the kids who seem to find all of this funny.

jensen jumps in the pool right next to me and holds my sides pulling me closer " so your not my girlfriend " he asks smiling cheeky . i study his face for a minute not trusting what ever he is thinking . " turn your dean off , or not whatever you want" i chuckle as i flick his nose. he pulls a face i can only describe as a dean face before dragging me under the water with him . when we break surface again both of us are laughing. all 3 kids are swimming towards them demanding we toss a ball around while they are on floats. we just started the game when gen comes outside saying lunch is ready making the kids go as fast as they can to get out of the pool. however jensen makes no effort to get out of the pool but instead comes closer to me " whatever your planning get it out of your head " i chuckle as i see the big smirk on his face indicating he is up to no good . i push him away as he comes closer to me. when he smiles a evil grin towards me i start to swim away to the side of the pool so i can get out . but as expected jensen is faster then i am and has a hold of me easily. " your not going anywhere " he laughs giving me a small kiss on the lips as he holds me close to him keeping me captive in his arms. " i , am going inside to eat " i chuckle pulling the hair on the back of his head softly. " now let your girlfriend go so she can eat instead of starve " i chuckle as he is still glaring at me from pulling his hair. he kisses my ear before whispering " i like the girlfriend part " . i peck him on the lips one last time before freeing myself and getting out of the pool.
