The next day maka grabbed her stuff and headed out the door. I stopped her and hugged her. "Keep in contact please" i said quietly. Maka looked the other direction and mumbled, "not really". I look at her as she walks to the front door. She grabbed the knob and opened the door to tsubaki. "Maka it's true isn't it?" She gasped. Maka sat her stuff down and smiled. "I want a new start." She sighed. She looked around. "I love this place but I got to go explore and have a new start." She smiled softly. She turned to me and widened her eyes. She was about to open her mouth but she closed it again. She turned to blackstar,patty, and Liz. "Thank you, all of you just for everything, the memories and more." She spoke as if she was about to die. She grabbed her stuff and put it in the car trunk. Everyone gave her a hug and walked away slowly. Maka reach's for the door handle but I pull her close to me. "Thank you maka, don't forget me." I smiled as she widened her eyes. she nodded and mumbled under her breath, "you can't know the real reason why." She closed the door and the car drive away. I open the door to my house and look into makas room. Empty. I sit down on my bed as I think of maka.
