15| First Day Surprise

Ok, I missed my posting time last night so your getting this in the middle of the day. My posting schedule has changed, instead of every Saturday, I'll be posting every other Saturday. I hope this is ok, it just works better for me. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this long awaited chapter.

Your Pov -

You woke up slowly. You felt like you had been up for hours already.

"That was a great dream to have the day I start work there." You thought.

You looked at your phone to see the time,

12:46pm......

"SHIT!!" You yelled, quickly getting up.

You had forgotten to set your alarm.....

You got up and put on a pair of (F/c) ripped jeans and a random hoodie. You then got ready for the day.

You went to the kitchen and poured what little cereal was left into a bowl.

"Damn, I'm gonna have to spend my first paycheck on food" you thought, as your parents were supposed to have been back yesterday.

Just then, your phone buzzed. You picked it up and saw it was a text from your mom .

Hey, sorry me and your dad aren't back yet, got caught up on the scenery, should be back in a week. Anyway I'm sending you $100 for food, so don't waste it. Love you😘

You replied with a simple "thx, love you too." And ended the conversation.

"Great, another week in this boring ass house, alone." You said out loud, frustrated with your parents.

They were only supposed to be gone for a few days. A few days turned into a week and now a week has turned into Two, just fucken great.

You sighed and finished your cereal, before looking for your uniform and keys.

It had been a while since you'd driven the car your parents had gotten you. You had just been going everywhere with Matt and Viv, so there was really no point.

You stopped at a gas station to grab a sandwich or something. Just in case you we're still at the Pizza-Plex come dinner time because there was no way in hell you we're eating there food.

While you we're there, you toped off the cars gas before heading towards the Pizza-Plex.

It was about 3pm when you finally got there. You know it was really early, but Vanessa did say to get here early.

You sat in your car for a few minutes, just hypeing yourself up. You we're nervous as all hell. I mean, who wouldn't be, this was your first real job since last summer.

You took a few more deep breaths before stepping out of your car and making your way towards the large building.

Once you we're inside the building, you stood in the small line of people to get to the front desk. Once you got there and told them why you we're there and your name; they told you that vanessa wasn't there yet, but that she would be there shortly. They also told you to just wait by the employe entrance door on the other end of the room.

You did as instructed and went to wait by the door.

You stood there, just draining your phone's battery, for almost an hour, if not more.
