bruh school sucks :( also I suck at writing these intros to the story bc they're slow and boring so TIME SKIP. It's only a few months which is shorter than it sounds so ye

"Y/n!"

Y/n looks around the parking lot for who called. They spot Blaze who makes his way through student's cars to get to Y/n. They lock up their car before meeting Blaze halfway. Together they begin walking to first bell.

"Good morning."

"Morning!" Blaze greets.

"You seem excited," Y/n comments.

"Dude I'm pumped!" Blaze's eyes widen with his excited tone. "My interview with Aphmau is today."

"Ooh. You prepared?" Y/n nudges his arm.

Blaze scoffs but his smile remains, "Uh born ready."

Y/n laughs, "Oh of course!"

"Duh."

The pair enter the school with their continuous laughs. As they go through the halls, they hear a loud clang. Their smiles turn to concerned frowns. Blaze leads the way as they round the corner. A group of students is crowded around a wall of lockers. Blaze goes on his tiptoes to see over the crowd. Y/n attempts to see but isn't as successful. There's another clang and this time it's easily recognizable as the locker being hit. Blaze sets down his bag next to Y/n then pushes himself through the crowd. As he does so, Y/n is able to faintly see the two werewolves fighting.

"Hey. Hey! Knock it off!" Blaze pulls the winning wolf off the other who is slumped against the lockers with a bloody nose. They sneer at each other.

Blaze gets his hands shoved off, "Get out of the way man!"

"Quit it! He's down!" Blaze gestures at the losing werewolf. "You're taking this too far."

The crowd was starting to disperse due to the lack of a fight. Y/n shoulders Blaze's bag and joins his side next to the angry werewolf. Blaze continues to lecture him. Y/n turns their attention to the beat-up sophomore.

They crouch in front of him and offer a hand, "You ok?"

Their hand is smacked away, "I don't need your help!"

He gets up and stomps off to the nurse's office. Y/n frowns as he does so. They turn back to Blaze who has finished his scolding. The other werewolf has already stormed away. Y/n hands Blaze his bag while he shakes his head.

"These fights are getting out of hand," Blaze sighs. "I'm all up for a good fight but lately they've just been unfair."

The pair continues to their class. Y/n nods in agreement, "It's because of the lack of an alpha, isn't it?"

"Yeah...Aphmau really needs to make a decision before it gets worse."

Lunch times comes around as well as Blaze's interview with Aphmau. He says his goodbyes before leaving halfway through lunch. With Blaze's absence at the table, Y/n now felt a little bored. The group wasn't as talkative as it was when Blaze was around.

"So, Y/n," Dottie leans towards them, "Wanna hang out after school with us?"

Y/n rolls their eyes with a grin, "You guys ask almost every day."

"We want to hang out with you, but you always say no," Dottie whines.

"Yeah, come on! It'll be fun," Rylan says.

Daniel pouts, "Please? It's Friday!"

"Blaze will be there too," Dottie adds.

"Pfft what's that supposed to mean?" Y/n laughs, finding that statement odd.
