i fixed the previous chapters already lol also surprise surprise time skip of a month or so. Can you tell i'm inpatient? ~~~
"I just don't understand why you can't come home," Y/n whines, "It's already been a few months and this project still isn't done?"
"I want to go home just as much but I really need to be here," M/n sighs over the phone.
"Can't you can work from home?" Y/n suggests.
M/n purses her lips, "I could maybe talk to my boss. I'll think about it."
Y/n frowns at the floor. Y/n was in a separate room from Daniel and his mom to discuss Y/n going out with friends again on the phone which turned into M/n possibly coming home.
"Can I go now?" Y/n asks, "I think Blaze is waiting outside."
"You've been hanging around him quite a bit," Y/n's mom smiles to herself.
Y/n's face gets a little red, "Y-yeah well I mean we're good friends so."
"I can tell," M/n chuckles, "Anyway, make sure you let everyone know where you are. Also I don't want you being out and about too late at night."
"I know," Y/n rolls their eyes, "Please can I go now?"
"Ok ok go have fun," M/n dismisses, "I'll call you later."
"Bye!" Y/n ends the call.
Y/n excitedly leaves the room and calls after Daniel. The two of them go out into the melting snow to Blaze's car. Y/n takes the passenger seat while Daniel takes the back. Ryland is already in the car.
"Oh, hey Ryland," Y/n greets once they notice him already sitting in the back, "How come you're in the back if you were here first?"
"That's what I asked," Blaze laughs. Y/n smiles.
Ryland shrugs, "Dunno. Let's get going already I want food."
"Same," Daniel's eyes widen in agreement.
Blaze pulls out of the driveway. He already has Dottie's address pulled up on his GPS. On the way over, music blares while the teens practically yell to talk to each other. Finally they pull onto Dottie's street and scan each house for the right address. Blaze parks on the street in front of the right house.
"Ok. This is it," Blaze turns off the car. Ryland is already out of the car and running up to the porch. Daniel isn't far behind him.
"They weren't kidding when they said they were hungry," Y/n stifles a laugh.
