The wonderful smell of the food filled Y/n's nose. Their stomach growled as they took a seat next to Blaze. Blaze's mom instructed for everyone to dig in. Y/n didn't hesitate. They filled their plate with spaghetti and made their choice of sauce between Alfredo or tomato. They enjoyed some garlic bread too.

It was the best noodles ever made. Blaze smiles at Y/n's enjoyment. Once the noodles and garlic bread have been devoured everyone at the table is content.

Blaze's mom stands up with a sigh, "Alright. Anyone want desert?"

"Me! Me!" All the little boys shout. She begins to collect their plates.

"There's ice cream in the fridge," She informs. The boys take off to the kitchen. She looks at Y/n, "Feel free to help yourself to anything you'd like."

Y/n offers a grin, "Thank you."

They begin to stand up to collect their dirty dishes to help with cleaning up. Blaze's mom makes her way around to that side of the table and retrieves said dishes from Y/n.

"Don't worry about the dishes. You two go have fun," She smiles.

Blaze also stands, "You want desert?"

Blaze and Y/n lean against the counters in the kitchen enjoying their ice creams. Blaze's mom is at the sink cleaning all the dishes. Y/n feels awful for not helping. They stare at the ground as they finish their desert.

"So," Blaze throws away the stick from his ice cream bar, "Whatcha wanna do?"

"I dunno," Y/n shrugs.

Blaze checks the time, "Wanna go on a walk or something?"

"Sure," Y/n agrees.

"Don't be out too long," Blaze's mom warns.

"Got it. Thanks Mom," Blaze leads Y/n out of the kitchen to the front door after grabbing a jacket.

They begin to walk on the sidewalk to nowhere in particular. Blaze asks, "Do you have a place in mind on where to go?"

"I don't really know any places to go," Y/n admits, "Haven't really been here long enough."
