Blaze and Y/n agreed on just going to a drive-thru and eating in the car because interacting with people is gross. So, the two of them enjoy their shitty fast food while listening to whatever music was playing on the radio.
"Mcdonald's has never tasted so good," Blaze hums contently. Y/n smiles while they chew, "God. So good."
"You weren't kidding when you said you were starving," Y/n chuckles after they shallowed their food.
Blaze nods with his mouth full. Suddenly, Y/n's phone begins to ring. They check the number and see it's Dottie who is calling. They give Blaze a puzzled glance before answering.
"Hello?"
"WHERE ARE YOU GUYS?" Dottie screams. Y/n pulls the phone away from their ear, cringing at the loud volume.
Y/n puts the call on speaker, "We're eating."
"Oh. Cute. Um anyways, you guys missed it!" It's obvious Dottie has a massive smile on her face just from the tone of her voice.
"What do you mean?" Y/n looks at Blaze, confused once again. He's still eating, staring back just as lost.
"Ein got arrested!" Dottie cant contain her laughs. Daniel and Ryland can be heard laughing as well in the background.
"Literally minutes after you guys disappeared," Dottie explains, "Once he woke up he was obviously pissed. Then out of no where a few cops and one of Aphamu friends took him away."
"What for?" Blaze asks, finally free from his coughing fit.
"Apparently he beat up this girl's brother really bad. Like, really bad," Dottie continues, "She slapped the shit of him hehe."
"Wow," Blaze's eyes are wide with disbelief.
"Of course we'd miss that," Y/n chuckles. Blaze nods with an agreeing smile, "That's crazy."
"Yeah. Just thought you guys should know. Enjoy your date. Ok bye!" Dottie ends the call before they can say anything.
"I- ok then," Y/n fights off the warmth rising to their face.
"Glad I'm not the only one she pesters about dates," Blaze releases a suppressed laugh. His cheeks share a matching tint of pink.
"She's on you about that too?" Y/n shakes her head with a smile, "She's ridiculous."
Blaze chuckles again, "Mmhm but uh, speaking of dates..."
Y/n's heart does a flip in their chest, "Yeah?"
"I was wondering...well um...would you maybe wanna go out...on a date...with me?" He did not think it would be that hard to ask.
