A LOUD YAWN ESCAPED YOUR LIPS. Waking up from your small nap. after getting yelled at by your parents, you couldn't help but be a little confused. Were you making all that stuff up or was Miles walking on walls a few hours ago? You weren't high, that's for sure, so there was no way you could be making that up.

Miles was some type of Spider-Man ... had to be right? But how? When? How did he get these abilities? And why didn't he tell you about them?

Rolling over on your side you stare out your window, it was dark now. The sunset and the city lights were the only things that brightened up the world outside your window.

You unlock your phone to see that Miles never answered your text and you frown, "It's not like he's my boyfriend or anything." But that doesn't mean you can't be worried right? How could you not be worried?? Miles was walking on walls! And from his facial expressions, down to the words he was saying you had to guess he had no clue he could do that either.

He was just as in the dark as you were. Had to be right? Your brain kept switching between pity for him and anger toward him. Your poor Miles, he's out there all alone right now if you could you would go to him but he could be anywhere right now and you told his roommate to text you when he got to his dorm.

But on the other hand, you were pissed. How could he not tell you something as big as this? How dare he keep this from you? He's your best friend, your other half. You guys told each other everything. Was it not the same for him? Were there things he didn't tell you, you told him everything, without a doubt, was he doing the same?

It was a habit. You checking in on Miles, and it's not like he minded he loved it. But that's beside the point right now you need to find Miles and get to the bottom of this Spider-Man shit cause you refuse to stay in the dark about this.

There's no way he kept something this important from you.

Right as you grab your phone to call Miles you see that you already have seven missed calls from him in the last five minutes of your brain working. Sitting up straight, now wide awake, you call him back. But it goes straight to voicemail, you try again, and again until you hear tapping.

Tapping? But where was it coming from? Your brown eyes trace every corner of your room, every inch until your eyes land on your closed window with the curtains covering it. Getting up from your bed you cautiously walk over to the window grabbing your scissors from your desk on the way over there, you lived on the third floor. Only rapists climb this high.

Pulling the curtains back with one hand and scissors in the other your eye's focus and you only see ... a dark figure.

But then that figure pulls their hood off and you see, Miles.
