• but she makes sure it's never about your looks
• only about actions or the people around you
• it's usually only half of what her thoughts actually are
• "you spend too much time with that gryffindor" (you should spend some time with me instead)
• "all you ever do is have your head in a stupid book" (if you looked up, maybe you'd notice me)
• she'd stare at you all the time
• blaise would tease her "what are you? obsessed with them?"
• she'd be sooooo defensive
• bc yeah right, why would she want to be with you
• aside from the fact that you're so nice, and beautiful, and she can always know your in the room simply from your contagious laugh, and welcoming an-
• speaking of laughing
• if she heard your laugh from like the table behind her in class, she'd turn around and ask what your laughing at
• everyone thinks it's cause she wants to mock you but in all actuality it's bc she wants to know your humor
• she does mock you tho for it, saying something about how she could think of a million better jokes
• she doesn't think you'd accept her and so she makes sure she isn't vulnerable enough for that to even be a thought
• at some point she lets it slip that you've piqued her interest
• like at a trip to hogsmeade she goes up and talks to you while your paying for some butterbeer
• and at first you smile and keep the conversation short bc it's almost always trouble when pansy is around
• but you ordered for you and the rest of the people at your table and she helps you carry it back
• everyone from her table and your table are just staring at the situation with wide eyes and opened mouths
• not even bc your talking, but because your both smiling and laughing
• she intended to continue her teasing when she walked up to you but she got lost in the color of your eyes and didn't want to keep up the illusion
• so she asked you out and you agreed (it was a little reluctant at first bc you were sure it was a dare)
• but she seemed so genuine and you told her that if she was down then so you were
