Jin can't keep his eyes away from Namjoon. The boy is now surrounded by girls and boys that want his attention. Being Jin's ex only made his popularity rise and everyone wants a chance to get to know him better. Sure, some people just want to know what happened between them, others feel bad for him, but for the most part they just want to know how is he really like.

Jin was never a person that got jealous. Even now, seeing girls asking for his number he's still not jealous. It's hard for him to imagine a scenario in which he's with someone else, so until he sees it happen he won't feel that way. Of course for him, Namjoon should've been popular with the girls and boys since the beginning. But that's because for Kim Seokjin there's no one better in this world than him.

Namjoon on the other side of the hall, could never interpret that from the look his ex is giving him. He looks just as calm and serious as always. Despite liking the attention, he refuses to date anyone else for now. His heart is still too broken to even think about falling in love again.

Singing class is probably Namjoon's less favorite. Specially now. Before he used to spend it admiring his boyfriend's amazing talent. But this is not the case anyone. He sits as far from him as possible making sure they don't have to work together for any project or homework or anything. He succeeds but soon he realizes, someone else takes his place next to Jin. He saw him before even though they never talked. Muscular, handsome, charismatic, loved by everyone, Jackson Wang sits next to his ex. And he has to try his best not to feel annoyed by it. Specially because he's too loud and he can hear the whole conversation...

- I can't believe I can finally sit with you! I love the way you sing!

- Okay

- I'm Jackson! How do you want me to call you? Seokjin? Hyung?

- Jin

- What's your favorite song from the ones we saw last time?

- "Epiphany".

- Mine is "Pretty Please"! Wanna practice together later?!

- No.

- Wanna sing a duet?

- No.

- Am I annoying you?

- No.

- Great! Because I have more questions!

Jackson did in that class what Namjoon could never do in two years of dating. He got Jin to talk for forty-five minutes straight of completely random things. The rest of the class was stunned. Even though his answers were always short, he answered every single one of the question his new friend was making. Jackson learned in an hour at least a hundred things about him. And Namjoon would've loved to ignore it, but how could he if Jackson's laugh was so frickin loud?!

- I love that too! And tell me more, what else do you like?

- I don't know

- Something you're passionate about! C'mon what is it?

Jin bites his lip. He shouldn't answer. He knows when he names it he automatically talks about it for hours. He knows it's not normal to know so much about it but...

- Mario kart

- Is that s-

- Did you know that it was revolutionary? Before it, racing games were all the same, but this was so original everyone started taking elements from it ever since. It changed the gaming industry.

That was by far the longest sentence he ever said in college without answering a question. And Jackson was trying to be his friend, but by the end of the day he became a Mario Kart expert. Jin knew details about the games, the first ones, the graphics, the consoles, the creators, the inspirations. Everything. He couldn't stop. And it was only during that conversation that Namjoon felt...at ease.

He heard Jin talk about those games before. He knew how excited he got. It was probably the only thing that could get him talking for hours. And even if he wasn't included in the conversation, he heard it all trying not to cry. Because he really misses him talking with so much emotion. His voice is still one of Namjoon's weak points. And it's all nostalgic... except everytime Jackson intervenes with questions or comments.

Lunch break comes and Jin saves his things back in his bag. When he's done he turns around and finds himself with his new friend who apparently didn't move an inch just waiting for him.

- You ready? Let's go Jin! I'll buy you something to drink from the cafeteria. Just ask me!

- Really? - His eyes shine - I want a caramel macchiato.

- Sure! Can I sit with you at your lunch table?

- Yes.

- And wanna have a date later tonight?

Namjoon can't believe those words just came out of that guy's mouth. He tries his best not to go there and punch him on the face. He was never someone that got jealous easily. Mainly because Jin never talked to many people and was always by his side. But now, that boy had talked to him for a full hour and they were planning to have lunch together!

- No.

- Okay! I tried! Now let's go!

Since he never asked "why not?", Jin doesn't clarify the obvious reason. He would never date anyone that's under Kim Namjoon's level. And for Jin, that's where the rest of the humans are. The bar is too high. In his head, it's Namjoon or nothing. At the lunch table, the group of friends try to keep a light atmosphere. It's the first time the couple is not sitting next to each other. And also the first time Jin is drinking something someone else bought him.

- I'll get the things for you.

Jin leaves the table like everyday. And taking advantage of his absence, Namjoon tries to meet Jackson a little more. Why is he here? What does he care what Jin does? Why is he trying to get a date with his ex just days after they broke up?

- So... what's up with you?

- Me? Oh, sorry! I never told you my name! I'm Ja-

- We know. - Tae interrupts - You dated Jimin last year

- He did? I don't even remember

- How can you not remember, Jimin?! You said it was fun and never went out again!

- You guys have a great memory, I have no idea what we did for that date. But if I said that then you must be a nice kid. So you can stay close to my Hyung.

- Thanks! I had fun on our date too! Even though you never called back hahaha

Jackson ignores completely the way Namjoon and Yoongi are staring at him. This last one, trying to ignore the reason why he feels annoyed.

- Anyway. Why do you wanna date my ex?

The table stays silent. Namjoon's serious tone makes them curious.

- Because he's super cool! He's talented and entertaining. Also very handsome. I have a good taste so I wanted to give it a try! But I can just be his friend if you're still in loved with him!

- Me?! Don't worry about me. I'm done with him. He's a liar a-and he's boring and h-he...he...he doesn't care in the slightest about us!

Behind him, Jin feels a strange pain in his chest. It's something he never felt before. And he's hating it. As always, he takes out the drinks and hands one to each of them, including Jungkook on the other table. He sits back with them and his voice is not heard again. Even though Jackson tries to interact, Jin feels too tired. Exhausted. And his fingers hurt from playing with them. Something that once more, Namjoon doesn't notice.
