Taehyung doesn't need anything else to know he has to go. At least this way he can pay back for spreading that rumour about him. Besides, he's sure he can win any game that has something to do with his best friend. He can't fail! He walks downstairs and finds Jin looking at his phone. Turns out he wasn't the only one to receive that message. But Tae won't let his older brother go. He doesn't know how dangerous this might be and he rathers go on his own.

- Listen, just stay here and I'll let you know if I need you, okay?

- How are you gonna go?

- I'll take the car!

- Dad took it. You should ask one of your friends to drive you

- Literally my only friend is Jimin. He doesn't have a car!

- Call Yoongi

- He's busy. I don't know, he said something about apologize to someone. I wasn't really paying attention

-...Call Jungkook

- W-What?! No!

- You want to help Jimin? Call Jungkook. Or go walking and risk being late

Is Jin only trying for Tae and Jungkook to have a decent conversation? Yes. He doesn't care what the result of it is. But he's seen his brother stressed this last few days and maybe that could help. Despite hating the idea, Taehyung accepts. He walks out heading to his ex-lover's house. On the way there, he calls Namjoon. Someone should stay with Jin in case this takes too long. And surprisingly, Namjoon accepts almost immediately. That conversation was easy. The one he's about to have though...

- You need my what?

- I need your car

- We use it for work, Tae. I can't just-

- Please, Kook...I won't bother you ever again. It's very important pleeease

-...Fine. But you don't think I'm gonna let you go on your own, do you? I'm going with you.

- Why?! You can't even drive!

- Because if I'm doing this for you you're gonna explain everything. In detail. And you'll answer all my questions. For the last time. And then that's it.

Taehyung wants to deny. But it's getting late and he needs to help Jimin. They get in the car and Tae gets ready to drive. Of course not before noticing something weird in the other.

- Are you limping?

- Hm? Oh, yeah I hit my leg earlier.

- But you're okay? - He starts the car - If you need anything-

- What? You'll send someone else to help me? Because I don't think you'll do much for me

- R-Right...

- Now...What the hell has you so nervous?

Taehyung lets it all out. From the messages he got, to the lie he said about Jimin, to the reason why his brother and Namjoon split up. Truth is this is not letting him sleep correctly. Too much is going on for him to take it. Or at least to take it alone. Jungkook listens to every word. And a bad feeling takes over him

- Your secret...is that you were with me?

- Well...

- Be honest.

- ...Yes. We can't let anyone know that!

- Yeah...that would be terrible

Taehyung notices the sad tone tainting his words. Both of them feel too hurt doing this.

- It's not because of me. I'm not embarrassed of you. I don't think nothing bad of you. It's just... it's about what the rest thinks. What they'll say. Do know how much that would affect us?

- It is because of you though

- I'm telling you it's not!

- You're the one that cares what the others think. I don't give a shit. When they told me you were too shallow I didn't care and I talked to you. When they said you were never gonna be near me I didn't care and tried. And fucking God I enjoyed it.

- I really...I don't care that much. I swear if it was up to me-

- It is up to you, Tae. Up to us. And if I have a saying in this...then I say the rest can go fuck themselves.

- It's not that easy...

- ...Stop the car, Tae.

His tone is soft and caring. He's clearly suppressing a smile and Tae can't help to feel curious. Not that far from the treehouse, they park. Silence around them makes Tae wonder if the other can hear his heartbeat.

- N-Now what?

- I'll show you something

Jungkook takes off his seatbelt and trying his best to guide himself in what for him is only darkness, he gets closer to Tae. He guides his hand towards him until he touches his cheek. Slowly, he pulls him closer and eventually he can feel his lips. The kiss is soft and innocent, yet that alone makes Taehyung feel butterflies in his stomach. It was only one. But Tae needs more. So he doesn't let the younger pull away and goes for a second and third kiss. Holding Kook's purple sweater so he stays close, Tae deepens the kiss. They only separate because they need some air.

- See, Tae? It is that easy. Tell me you don't want that to happen again. Say it and I'll move on. I won't be angry. I won't complain. Say it...

- Kook...

- Yes?

- ...Do it again

This is why Tae tried to avoid him so much. Because he knows how weak he is to the younger's touch. To his lips. His hands. He forgets completely about Jimin, about JH, about his boyfriend. It doesn't matter. He just enjoys the moment. He missed the sensation so much. It takes them at least another ten minutes to come back to earth

- Baby, I don't wanna ruin the mood but... shouldn't we look for that treehouse?

- S-Shit, you're right...one more and then let's go!

- Hahaha - He gives him one more kiss - Okay, but just so you know... I'm not gonna get over you now. So you'll have to deal with that...

Not ready to have that conversation yet, Taehyung leaves the car. He guides Jungkook up to the place and they carefully climb up. There, the treehouse is empty, except for a cellphone. It's turned on with the screen showing a message. Taehyung takes it and reads it. By his side, Kook holds his hand and waits for him to describe what he sees there.
