The Last Nerve

(Certain times I will be narrorating the story and some times It be from Alecs POV)

It was cold in the warlocks home, but were was the warlock?

Magnus has been missing for days after him and Alec had a big fight. They've had fight before but not like this.

That Night ... Alec POV

The door creaks open and Alec, dressed in all black - shadow hunter clothes - with the smell of demonic mist was still lingering on Alec when he walked in. He had stayed late that night - even though shadow hunters never really have a schedule but Magnus didn't like it when he was to late -

"Where were you boo bear?" Magnus asked as Alec walked in limping

"I was out. where do you think?" Alec responds as he holds his back to walk to the bedroom. "and don't call me that!"

"What...?"

"Boo bear!"

"What happened out there...tonight?" Magnus asked changing the subject.

Alec hesitated before he said "Nothing" quickly.

"How long have I known you?"

"I don't know." Alec says sharply with a puzzled look.

"Well, I'm pretty sure I've known you long enough to know that "nothing" is always something."

"Just leave me alone." Alec says as he walks into the bedroom and slams the door shut, leaving Alec there with a hurt look on his face. It was 3:50 in the morning, almost 4:00. He needed to go to bed too. The door creaked open and Alec was sitting on the bed using his stele and putting the healing rune on himself.

"I can help you, you know?" Magnus said

"I can do it myself." I say sharply

"Your exhausted... I'm exhausted. Why don't I just make you better and we can both go to bed... tomorrow will be a new day." Magnus says some what cheerfully.

"NO! OKAY! I DON'T NEED YOUR HELP... AND EVEN IF I DID I DON'T WANT IT!!" I say as I walk out the door, slamming it shut behind me. I walked out into the kitchen to find that there was a letter on the table saying that

~Alec has been hurt and the institute would like to know if you - Magnus Bane - would help Alec Lightwood heal faster he is needed tomorrow and we can't do the attack if Alec Lightwood is not present.~

"Wow" I wispers to himself in aw. He storms back in the bedroom and says " What the hell is this?" and holds up the letter.

"You weren't supposed to see that." Magnus replys

"Well I did! You know the Institute - have they been telling you every time I get hurt, is that why you always ask me if I need help -" I say

"Alec I.." Magnus says not knowing how to reply.

"You know I thought you were the one person that would understand!"

"Understand what that your ego is to big that by the Angel forbid that Alec Lightwood would get hurt. I'm just trying to help you. Okay?"

"Okay. But I don't need it and you need to understand that." I says still pissed off

"STOP! OKAY! JUST STOP! STOP PRETENDING THAT YOU DON'T HAVE ANY PAIN RIGHT NOW, THAT IF I HUGGED YOU, YOU WOULDN'T FEEL PAIN! YOUR SO FUCKIN STUBORN!" Magnus screams as he walks out of the room. I hear the him take his coat and the front door slam shut. I look out the window to see that the warlock that I just made anger is walking away... from his own house. Where is he going.
