It was your friend's party tonight, and you were really excited for it. You've had a crush on Ponyboy since school started.. so you begged your friend to invite him. She agreed to it. Your friend made you aware that he was coming, so you tried your hardest to look your best. You curled your hair, perfected your makeup, and put on your favorite dress. When you got there, he was already there, standing by the punch. You stared at him from afar..you wondered how someone could be so beautiful..
Your friend interrupted your thoughts."Y/N!" She said. "Go over there and talk to him, or I'm calling him over here..I didn't invite him here for you guys not to talk!!" "Ok, ok fine!" You said, staying in the same spot! "Go!" She said pushing you. You suddenly weren't so sure about this..what if something happened? What if punch spilled all over your dress?! You worried. "Here." Your friend said, once again interrupting your thoughts. "I'll come with you." She smiled, grabbed your arm and pulled you over." You smiled at him, then stared at the punch. Once again, deep in thought. "Hey Pony! I hope you're enjoying the party!" Your friend exclaimed. "This is my friend, Y/N.. Y/N, this is Pony. I'll be right back. She gave you the look.
"W-what?" You questioned, unaware about what was happening. He smiled dreamily. "I'm Ponyboy." He said shaking your hand. "D-Do you wanna dance with me?" He asked shyly. Was he actually asking you to dance? Did you really just shake his hand?! You were in shock! "Yeah..o-of course!!" You exclaimed. "I'd love to." You said smiling. "I've been waiting for this all night," he said, and kissed your lips.
Ponyboy and you danced all night and it was amazing. You ranted about it all week to your friend. Pony and you fell in love and started dating.💛
