Ponyboy has always been a caring person, especially towards you, but sometimes, as much as you hate to admit it, it gets kinda annoying. You were in a bad mood because your report card grades weren't doing so well..you decided to ditch the next class, which you never do. You had Pony next period and you just didn't feel like talking about it.
You went outside to smoke a cig, which you only do when you're upset. When Pony noticed you weren't in class, he asked to go to the bathroom, but looked around for you. By the time he came outside, you had just finished crying. It may sound silly to other people, but your grades meant everything to you. Your mascara ran, and your makeup was smeared. "Y/N?" Pony asked. You dragged your cigarette. "What is it Pony?" You asked, avoiding eye contact. "What's wrong?" He asked worriedly. "Pony I don't wanna talk about it, that's why I didn't come to class." You snapped. "But Y/N, I ju-" "Geez Pony would you just leave me alone?!" "I just don't like to see you upset! I just wanna help you out! Pony's voice shook. "Well you can fix my grades..can you?!" You shouted throwing your cigarette on the ground and walking off. "Ple-please don't go.." He yelled with hurt in his voice. You ignored him, as soon as you got home, you buried your face in your pillow, drenching it with your sobs. "I'm falling apart.." You thought. First you lost your straight A's, then your perfect attendance, and now the love of your life- Pony. The phone rang. It was Pony. You sighed and answered the door. "Ye-" You started, but he cut you off.

"Y/N, I-I just wanted to say I'm sorry. Sorry that I was raiding your space and all. All I wanted to do was cheer you up. I wasn't trying to make you upset I really didn't mean to..I really hope you can forgive me because, I-I love you." You smiled to yourself. You're the best, and i love you too, I'm really sorry for snapping at you..please come over?
Pony came over and your bad day turned into the best day ever. He helped you bring your grades up, and everything fell back into place.💛
