Ava was able to make it to her class today without the help of jimin. The first day she arrived on campus he helped her find all her classes so when she started she wouldn't have much trouble. She had good memory and remembered where everything was within two days.
She sometimes however felt like she was a burden on jimin but he didn't feel like she was. If ava needed a kidney he wouldn't hesitate to give his.
Before she entered the class her phone buzzed. "Yeoboseyo?" she answered. Ava liked to answer the phone in many languages. Any time she would learn how to say a greeting in a different language she was quick to use it. Spanish was her second native language though. It was spoke back in her household all the time. Her mother was hispanic and Indian, and her father was Creole and African American.
"Hola. Did you make it to your class alright?" Of course it was jimin. He always went along with her greetings.
"Yes i did. I hope your not always going to call me whenever i have a class."
"Of course not. Just for today and probably tomorrow too.." Ava knew he would try to call every chance he got so she knew for a fact he was lying.
"You know i would ask someone for help if anything. And shouldnt you be in class right now?"
"I stepped out for a minute."
"Jimin go back inside please. Im okay. I'll meet you later at the food court."
"You sure you dont want me to meet you after class?"
"Absolutely not. Goodbye now Park Jimin." With that ava hung up before jimin could get anything else out.
Using her cane ava entered the class. She was early. She wanted to be there before any student so she wouldn't make a fool of herself. But she liked being early anyway.
"Ahh you must be Ava, my name is miss. Fountaine but just call me Sara. I hate being so formal plus it makes me feel old." The teacher smiled welcoming her. Ava could already tell she was going to be a nice teacher. She liked to say she could read peoples auras very well.
"Is there anywhere particular you would like to sit?" Sara asked.
"The front." It made it easier for her to leave. She already had planned on sitting in the front of all of her classes anyway.
" Okay well pick away."
"Oh, um if you can.. please treat me like any other student..you know cuz.." ava said pointing to her eyes.
Sara smiled. "Of course."
Ava took her seat and soon enough she heard students entering the class. After everyone was settled sara began talking. Today they were going to be partnering up. Ava dreaded having to talk to anyone new. She was a very sweet girl but her anxiety made it hard for her to talk to anyone.
She heard someone scoot up a chair next to her. "What a coincidence, we meet again." Ava remembered his voice clearly.
"I didn't get a chance to introduce myself last night. My name is jaewon but everyone calls me One."
