"Rise and shine motherfuckers. We leave in an hour!"
Jays voice echoes throughout the cabin early morning. Everyone is moving slow from being up so late and drinking last night.
"We should just get him a megaphone." One enters Avas' room with a cup of coffee. "Here you go, decaf just how you like it. And careful it's hot." He says handing it to her.
"Thank you." She's careful taking a sip. "And I don't think he needs one, he's already loud enough."
He chuckles, "Yeah, I guess you're right. You almost ready? Breakfast is done, if you wanna head down and eat before we leave."
"I think I'll skip it, maybe take an apple or something with me on the way out." She was never really a breakfast person. For some reason, her stomach couldn't handle food as soon as she woke up in the morning.
"Okay, I'll let you finish getting ready, I'm next door if you need me."
"Actually, can you stay? I'm kind of already ready. I'm not sure what to do and Jose and Mila are still not ready yet." She says.
"Of course, cookie crumbs." He says smiling.
As they wait Ava tells him how excited she is about today's festivities. He can't help but to smile at her joyfulness and excitement.
He just hoped that Jimin didn't ruin it for her, being that he was already seeking attention the first night they got there.
When they make it to the park the first thing they do is take pictures. Ava wanted to go to the shop after so One promised her after they were done with the ski slopes, they would go together.
An instructor showed the beginners how it was done while jay, Jimin, Gia, Jungkook and Sienna were already down the hill having a blast. One already knew what he was doing but he decided to stay with Ava to make her feel more comfortable and he promised he wouldn't leave her, and he was sticking to his word.
"I'm going to join the group of kids over there in a minute and go sledding with them because hunny this aint for me." Mila says struggling down the small hill.
Jungkook comes back laughing at her attempts but also finds it cute and feels bad so decides to help her out.
Jose just laughs as she still struggles. He manages to pick it up pretty fast and starts having racing contest with random strangers.
While everyone is doing their own thing Ava and One end up sledding instead. He knew she would enjoy it more. He would sacrifice his fun for hers any day. But he did have fun sledding with her. Her laugh was contagious and every time they would get to the bottom, she'd say she would want to go again.
Her nose started to get red and slightly runny, so they stopped and headed to the gift shop to warm up.
The first one they entered was a souvenir shop. One pointed out all the keychains he thought her parents would like. She even got some for Mila, Jose, and Mr. Kim.
"This will be my first Christmas away from my parents." She says as they sit down inside the log cabin where people are coming in and out of with family and friends. They have restrooms and self-serve beverages. It was warmer inside and they waited until the group was ready to switch activity.
"I'm actually surprised you were down to come." One says sitting in front of her sipping on a cup of hot cocoa.
"I did think about it for a while. Mila and Jose were excited when I told them." She could remember them freaking out and begging her to go.
