"Dont worry about Gia. No one really pays attention to her." One says as he drives. Hes the last car and follows behind everyone.
"Its fine. She seems..nice."
He looks over at her and the laughs.
"No ones ever called her nice before."
"She mentioned her and Jimin dating." Ava says.
"Jimin doesn't do relationships."
"They seem really close."
"Yeah, because gia is stuck up his behind. They've been like that since last year. Like a couple months after jimin came they hooked up alot." One stopped himself though. He didn't want to tell ava too much of Jimins business. It wasnt his to tell.
"Is she pretty?" One didn't expect her to say that. It caught him off guard.
Not as pretty as you. Is what he wanted to say.
"Shes an attractive girl but her attitude makes her unattractive as well." One smirks.
"Hmm, i see. As long as shes good to him then thats all that matters."
"Yeah. Something like that." That last part isnt audible enough for her to hear.
"So you all hang out alot?" She asks after some silence.
"Yeah. Whenever we aren't swamped with alot of homework. It's mainly just jay, jimin and i. Jay started bringing some girls around and they were friends with Gia."
She wanted to say cool but didn't want to seem lame.
They pull up to the beach front. Jay is grabbing some liquor from the back of the trunk.
"Looks like we're gonna be here for a while." One says turning off the car.
They set up a bonfire as the sun goes down.
One and Ava are taking a walk. She didn't really like being in front of fires. "So you can see colors?"
"Yeah,its how im able to paint. Darker colors are kind of harder but vibrant ones always stand out. The sunset will always be my favorite. It's beautiful. I love being outside" She smiles.
One cant help but smile too. They had talked about any and everything. He was fascinated how different she was then any girl hes ever met.
"So tell me. Howd you and Jimin become friends? Your total opposites."
"Not completely we have alot more in common than you think. When he came freshman year Jay introduced me to him. It was a wild year." He chuckles alittle thinking back to all the crazy parties they went to and all different kinds of things they got into.
But now their friendship was spiraling down hill. One felt he didn't do anything wrong. Ever since Ava came hes been a dick. It was kind of selfish of him.
"He told me about them. Just never really got into detail and of course about you guys."
That was another thing One didn't understand. Why didn't Jimin ever mention his best friends?
Laughter and yelling was heard behind them. One turned to look and seen jimin chasing Gia around and tackling her into the sand.
He sighed.
"You think we should head back now?" She asks.
He thinks about it for a moment then looks back at the playful couple.
"Nah. Lets just talk for a little more. I want to know more about you."
And so they talk and just walk.
When they finally make it back to the group, music is playing and they are drinking.
One makes sure Ava isnt that far up to the fire when they sit down.
Jimin looks at them.
"You cold? We can go inside my car for a minute and turn on the heat." One asks her. He saw that she hugged her body.
"No its okay. I think im ready to go home. I have class in the morning."
"Okay ill tell jimin."
"Actually,can you take me home?"
One looks at jimin and he nods. He must've already heard the conversation.
"Alright,come on." He takes her hand and she gets up.

Ava had a hard time falling asleep tonight. The apartment was silent and jimin still wasnt home. She didn't want to call or text him.
Just when her eyes were closing she heard the opening and closing of the front door.
She could hear him talking on the phone to someone but it was in his native language. He sounded angry.
After about a couple minutes his voice was harder to hear indicating he went into his bedroom closing the door.
And then it was quiet again for some time until the sky made noise.
Thunder.
Ava hated thunder storms. Yea it was childish but being blind and hearing a loud noise like that scared her.
The rain came down next and now it got louder. Ava always said it sounded like something was trying to break into earth.
A bright white light flashed and the sky roared after.
She jumped out of bed leaving out her room. She crossed the living area trying to get to Jimins bedroom door.
Finally feeling for his door she knocked lightly. There was no answer.
Was he sleep already? How could someone sleep through these.
She knocked again but a little harder this time when the thunder roared.
The bedroom door flung open and arms pulled her in. Jimin wrapped his arms around her.
"Im sorry, i didn't know it would rain tonight. Come on." He guided her to his bed.
The curtains were closed in his room so no light would come through. Thank god for black curtains.
He wrapped his arms around her when they got underneath the covers. Her face was buried in his chest.
When the thunder came again he put his hand over her ear.
She calmed when she was in jimins' arms falling asleep.
He kissed the top of her head. "What would you do without me."
