The car was just filled with anger fuming out of jimin and a billion questions.
Ava tapped her upper arm repeatedly then started to rub it. "Im sorry." She's already said it a bunch of times the whole car ride.
She didn't understand why he was so angry. She should be the one angry with him.
Even inside the shared home he was still ranting. Ava had enough. "Just stop! Okay?! Stop. I didn't do anything wrong! I just wanted to surprise you." Tears started to form in her eyes.
"And you said we would go out to eat! You forgot all about me." She sniffled and wiped her eyes but more tears started to come down.
"Your right. Im sorry ava. Im an asshole ,i know." Jimin brushes his thumb over her cheek wiping her wet stained face. "What can i do to make it up to you, hm?" He hugs her.
She didn't say anything, they just stand there hugging. "I hate when you leave me." She whispers.
He strokes her head. "I know baby, im sorry."
And thats when she feels that flutter in her chest. "Lets stay in and watch movies." She suggests trying to keep her mind off what was just happening to her.
Jimin pulls away and looks at her tucking a curl behind her ear. "I'll get the snacks ready."
Jimin missed some classes just to spend the rest of his evening with ava. He turned his phone on silent and do not disturb. He knew gia was probably blowing him up right now considering the fact he left while she was sleep this morning. But he felt like he didnt have to explain himself to her anyway. They weren't in a relationship, which he kept having to explain to her.
"Are you and gia going to start dating?" avas' small voice asks under jimin. She mustve just woke up.
The question really came out of the blue but Jimin already knew the answer to it. "No. You know i dont date."
"Oh,okay. Good." She plays with his fingers.
"You dont like her?" She shakes her head. "Its just something about her energy..she doesn't seem like a good person."
Jimin thought about it. Ava was always right about someone, she could sense good and bad energy from almost anyone.
"What about me?" He asks.
She furrows her eyebrows confused, "Hm? What do you mean?"
"Do you think im a good person?"
This was an odd question he was asking, ava thought. Of course he was a good person, if he wasnt they wouldn't be best friends. From the moment ava met jimin she knew he was an angle. Anyone else perspective he was a big fuckboy, flirty, and the list goes on but to Ava jimin was just misunderstood.
So her answer was, "your an amazing person, with a big heart."
He smiles and it warms his heart. She was the only one who really understood him other than his two friends. She was his other half. Without her he felt like nothing.
So he felt awful for the way he's been treating her.
He twirls his fingers around in her curly hair. It makes him think back to when they were younger and she literally tried to bite him for touching her hair.
"Mommy said no one's allowed to touch my hair!"
"Thank you ava." Hes says.
