One does a quick look before he heads out. Jay is already waiting for him in the car. Theyre both going to the companys' dinner party. One was grateful jay was coming. He had to go anyway because his family was attending as well.

He hated any type of event's having to do with his family's company.

"We are so late." Jay says when One finally gets in the car.

"I wouldn't be me if i wasnt." He smiles and jay just shakes his head and smiles.

The dinner party was being held at one of the many buildings the family owned. It wasnt that long of a drive because they were close to the city already.

Valet takes the car when they get out. "I shouldve smoked before this shit." One says only audible enough for Jay to hear.

"Trust me we can take a smoke break in a few after we are forced to mingle." Jay says slapping his hand down on Ones' shoulder. They walk up the stairs and into the huge facility.

"Why are we having it all the way on the top floor?" Jay whines silently.

"More difficult for us to escape. They know us too good." One says. He knew his father didn't want him sneaking off anywhere. He would always do that when they had these events. Just sit and wait it out but he had a feeling it would be difficult this time.

The elevator carries them all the way to the 40th floor.

The doors slide open and low soft music and conversation is at play when they step out.

Tables set out with refreshments and food. The dinner hadn't began yet so everyone was talking amongst themselves.

One and Jay walk over to the v.i.p table with both of their families last names on it.

"Thought you weren't gonna show up." A voice says from behind one. He turns and is greeted with a huge smile on his younger brothers' face.

One smiles as they hug. "Your missed back at home." His brother says.

"Highly doubt it." He says raising his brows and takes a glass of champagne a waiter carries before walking past.

"Well i do."

Before they are immersed in conversation a mic is being tapped.

His father stands at the front all eyes on him. He was a good looking man for his age. Everyone told One he looked just like him but he wish he didn't. He wished he looked more like his mother. Yeonjun took all her genes. Being the last born will do that to you.

Everyone took their assigned seats. "Im grateful for all of my sons being here today. And my niece and nephew as well." He was referring to Jay and Nari. They were practically family anyway.

"I gathered everyone here this evening for a big announcement. I will be stepping down from my position soon.." One already knew where this was going.

The oldest brother mounts the small stage and everyone claps. Well except for One.

His father passes the mic and he smiles to the crowd.

"Im very.." One blurs out the speech and is only focused on his brother. The second person he hated the most growing up.

Might be wondering why their father wanted One to run the company. He always saw him as the most troubled one. He thought just maybe if he put him as his heir it would change him as a person, but man was he wrong.

One refused to step foot back in the house and decided to go to college. He was basically running away from his duties. But he didn't give a care in the world. He knew he couldn't actually get away from his family for good. So whenever his father asks him to do small things he does it just like coming to this dinner party. It was that or either take over the company.
