Aya POV
4 years later...
Caiden is now 4 years old. I can't believe how much how much time has passed. We ended up moving two blocks over from my mom, and now we're expecting our second child. I sat in my rocking chair on the back porch, watching our son run in the yard. He's very observant.
"Hey baby," Chance greeted me as he came out.
"Hi my love."
Soon as Caiden heard his voice, he came sprinting towards him.
"Daddy!," he screamed with excitement.
Chance picks him up and spun Caiden around causing him to laugh.
"You been good while I ran errands?," he asked him.
"Yes," Caiden beamed.
"Good," Chance replied and kissed his forehead.
Chance turned around, joining my side.
"Who would've thought, that we'd get our normal?," he asked looking out into the beautiful yard.
"No lie, I had my doubts for sure," I admitted to him.
"Me too, but we kept fighting."
His hand gently rubbed my stomach, our baby moved.
"I love you," he said and pecked my lips.
"I love you too."
The fight was over for now, or so we thought.
